Pokémon Platinum Hardcore Nuzlocke - EEVEELUTIONS Only! (No items, No overleveling)

Can I beat a Pokemon Hardcore Nuzlocke challenge in Platinum using only eeveelutions?
Nuzlocke rules:
-Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
-Only one of each Eeveelution
-All pokemon must be nicknamed
Hardcore Rules:
-Always Set mode
-No items from the bag option in battle (held items are ok)
-No overleveling the next gym leader

PEARL IS BEAUTIFUL TO MEEE 😭 She’s STUNNINNGGG Her character arc was INSANE too. Learning to love herself only to almost immediately after be faced with with certain death only to SURVIVE??? show stopping. Truly the most capable, and most beautiful, “Emerald Espeon.” I honestly teared up a little. I love you, Pearl.

Great as always, and I love that you’re incorporating some more narratives in these runs! As a Leafeon fan, you should try Blaze Black 2/Volt White 2 Redux if you haven’t before. Not only does Leafeon get Leaf Blade at a decent level, it can have Super Luck to go along with X-Scissor, Night Slash, and Psycho Cut - the crit killer Leafeon deserves to be!

I’ve started playing it! Love it, and I’ve always loved Leafeon! I honestly think it’s usable even in gen 4. It and Flareon just get way fewer options than the others, especially being physical and thus not getting shadow ball by default. They still did great in this run, so that should say it all!

@@antlerboylive oh awesome, enjoy! Glaceon was the MVP of the League in my run with a massive Special Attack and crazy coverage, so it’s definitely a fun game for the Eeveelutions. And you’re right, they can perform well in any Gen if you come up with the right strats - would love to see this run in other games in the future!

Espeon is hard hitting and fast while umbreon is slow and bulky while yes umbreon has the type advantage Espeon get‘s access to dazzling gleam so there honestly is no one better than the other between them

I think Umbreon is still better because a little bit into spdefense and that thing can tank dazzling gleams with no issue and with a very toxic moveset like confide and moonlight I don’t think Espeon can compete

He is HM's whore, he is one of the many legendaries who has access to all the HMs. Like flight, strength, surfing, rock punch. Those necessary for Mount Coronet. I haven't played Pokémon platinum in years, for that same reason, the disgusting HM, mandatory!

I really like the eeveelutions but it always feels like they fall off a bit by the end of the game so I end up dropping them, the only times I ever had one go all the way to the league was a Vaporeon in a randomized Black 2 run and Sylveon when I first played X. My favorite ofc is Sylveon

Glaceon and flareon are my two favorite eeveelutions. Flareon is one of my favorites cause they be so fluffy(I just wanna hug it so much) and I like Glaceon cause I think it just had such a a sleek and cool design.
