First you don’t own the number or jersey. The Steelers own the jersey and they can do whatever they want with that jersey. I don’t care about numbers I care about championships and none was won while you were Steeler.

Emmet Smith, Jerry Rice, Joe Montana, et cetera. All of them had their jerseys retired after leaving. Numbers that hang in the stadium are based on their contributions and success. Unless, in this case the team explicitly doesn’t allow it. I agree with him, the team used to be like a family. But now, I’m not sure. I wouldn’t want Cam Sutton in my family.

Mike Tomlin is responsible for creating all of the dysfunctional and bitter Steelers players including Antonio Brown. He loves to blow sunshine up their butts when they arrive, but then when they get hurt or get old he casts them aside. Instead, Mike should be counseling his players to retire at an appropriate point and actually have a succession plan long before changes are needed. Instead Mike Tomlin allows big holes to develop in the team and waits until the last minute to try to poorly fix the gaps. Mike Tomlin is definitely not a championship coach.
