Esse Antony é outro jogador se comparar com a fase da carreira dele no SPFC. Eu lembro que os torcedores ficavam p... da vida com ele pq o cara não sabia finalizar, era só recuo de bola pro goleiro adversário. Ele sempre foi muito talentoso, insinuante, quebrador de linhas, etc, mas o que ele amadureceu no Ajax é um absurdo. O cara é um dos melhores em atividade na posição dele. That's why it's so hard to tell if a young prodigy is actually good by how they play against slower players. It's hard to know if they truly have the acceleration and foot speed to make it at the highest level.

@@morninglift1253 I'll give you a prime example, Luis Diaz, came from Porto and is tearing it up with Liverpool, and quicky became a starter. He played in an "inferior" league which is the Portuguese League. Antony is a guy full of potential and has the skills to back it up. He is already a big part of the National Team, and is being considered by Liverpool as replacement for Salah, he is also being considered for Barcelona as well, and countless other big clubs.

I haven't seen moves like these since Ronaldinho! Love the skill! If he can get that no look pass dialed in like Ronaldinho used to do it would like chef's kiss. Brazilian football has the most style IMO.

He isn't at Neymars level yet, let's not talk about Dinho. Dinho inspired a whole generation of both Brazilians and non Brazilians to play football. Different levels when you inspire the world. Antony is very talented but Dinho is a task too big for any player.

This guy is stupendously skillful. This is the kind of player United needs on the right wing. Sancho on the left, Antony on the right with the ability to switch wings at will together with a very quality new defensive midfielder being managed by Ten Hag would contribute to bringing back the glory days to Old Trafford.

The current Ajax era is just so impressive and I hope next year they can surprise the world yet again after the anti-climactic end of last years Champions League. I feel like Ajax is slowly growing back to that incredible force of 25 years ago. Let's hope that even after the controversies and the inevitable loss of players to bigger clubs they can still pull together an impressive 2023-2024. I am here for it. And who knows, maybe the dutch league can grow too. I've seen so many talented players come from the dutch league and I feel like the only reason the dutch league isn't bigger is because of economic reasons.

He didn't invent that skill there is a South Africa player named scarra ngobese who used to do it almost 15- 18 years ago. He even once did it against Manchester United. He was famous for that move here in SA
