Ants are my nemesis! They arrive every year to taunt me by building their little piles all over my lawn. I’m starting to see activity this year so I tested three products and documented the results. Stick around after the testing for my preventative product application on the whole yard.

Oh man I really like the finish of your garage floor. Will you do a video on how you did it. I'm in Alabama, the Ortho didn't work for me last summer. But the other, Spectracide did. Someone has said that Borax & Sugar 1 to 3 ratio would work indoors.

How did you get the cabinets in your garage installed? They look great.

Thanks! They are the Sears Gladiator series and I’ve had them for over 10 years. They are just screwed into studs in the wall through holes in the back of the cabinets. Getting them all somewhat level was a two person job and a little tricky.

I have a rather large three acre yard with forty ant beds so that ant killer you spread over piles, that would cost a ton of money for me considering how many ant beds I have.

You might want to try something like Talstar that you but concentrated and mix yourself. Could cut the cost down significantly.

Can you show the results when the ground is dry? The wet earth looks nothing the same as the pre treatment earth.

I take a glass soda bottle. Dig a hole right where the ants dug their hole. Now bury the bottle with the opening right where the ants had their intrance. The ants will all run into the bottle and they can't climb out.

All you need is to put dawn detergent on ant hills and water it in slightly......poof.....ants are gone

I swear by it!!! I couldn’t believe it myself. 4 colonies wiped out in my back yard. May have to do it a couple of times for each depending how big. But it works.!!! Have to boil the water thoughzzz

That's a great idea. I'll send my daughter to the yard with the hose and some soap and she'll have a great time.
