Very nice video. Anubias Nana and nana Denmark are my favorite varieties. They are not that small and not that large. They are perfect!

Removing dying leaves actually helps the plant grow as its not spending energy trying to repair dying leaves. I read some place that if you glue the rhizome vertically the plant will grow vertically and if you do it horizontally it will grow that way.

I adore them... Saw my first ever in the shop and was first ever plant I bought for my starting tank, as a beginner, I have fallen in love with these slow growing low growing plants, and nana is just gorgeous.... I have glued mine to a rock and he likes it... Thank you for your videos, not too long of talking bragging lingering talk and annoying music and clean cut informatie educational videos with excellent explanation

Wow! That nana is gorgeous. Ive had alot of trouble trying to incorporate nana, they always seem to melt, while the barteri, hastifolia, and coffeefolia thrive.

I love this educational plant stuff Joel. I would love to know what plants like what color lights. I know algae LOVES blue light, but what ones like red LEDs what ones do better under cool white, warm white, yellows..? I have so many LED options on my Fluval plant 3.0 I am unsure if I even need them all. Any ideas?

I wish I had that problem with overgrown Anubias. it seems like all the Anubias plants I buy arrive beautiful and green. Then the leaves start falling off and the rhizomes rotting. I attach them or tuck them in between rocks or wood and don't bury the rhizomes. I have given up on Annubias. What a shame because they are such beautiful plants. Any suggestions? I welcome your experience and expertise.

Test your water for high phosphates. I have high phosphates in my tap water and I have found that it will rot roots and stems of a lot of different plants.

HonCorvis is that Pogostemon Stellata Octopus in front of the Anubius you are replanting near the end of the video, if so how do you keep it compact like that mine always races for the top of the water?

Quick question. Im setting up my second planted tank, tank arrived and was sent back for repair, it will be back mid next week. I received my plants yesterday. For the the week, is it better to free float my anubias and java fern or leave it in the mineral wool pots?

@@mustachadon I know it is so when I seen a part look weird and a bit squishy I threw away 2/3 of the plant to be safe. Hoping i can save it. I have so so much anubias in my tank i would be devastated if it all rotted. Should i just throw that anubias plant out? The rest are fine, so far
