Preparation time: 10 mins
Fermentation time 10 hrs
Serves 5 - 6 people
Ingredients for Surti Idara/ Idada
11/2 cup rice
1/2 cup urad dal
1/4th tsp Dana methi
4 tbsps sour curd
1 tsp salt
1 tsp green chilli paste
1 tsp ginger paste
Pinch of hing
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp citric acid
1 tbsp groundnut oil
2 pinches soda
Pinch of black pepper crushed
For red chutney
1/2 cup curd
1/4th cup garlic
Kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tbsp sugar
Pinch of hing
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp groundnut oil
