It takes a jeweler to understand a diamond. Piyushji speaks about jewel thief where Vijay Anand fools the audience and makes us think there are 2 Dev Anand in the movie. This is the only movie which shocked me and kept me entertained from start to end! Vijay Anand and Jewel Thief are one of the most underrated in world cinema!

Yes Push Mishra is absolutely right I am 39, I requesting all go and kindly watch "jewel theaf" 50 years old movie. The story/concept/thought process/ plot/script in every aspect it is much much better than any suspense thriller of today's era.

Knowledge? R u mad? Kishore Kumar never sang in Nayak. And Satyajit Ray was amazed with Kishore Kumar. Kishore Kumar even never accepted the remuneration from Satyajit Ray for the song in Charulata which was released 2 yrs before Nayak for sheer respect for Satyajit Ray. He is comparing Vijay Anand with Hrithik Ghatak and Satyajit Ray. We got his knowledge of cinema and intellectualism.

Satyajit Ray didn't sing Kishore Kumar in Nayak starring Uttam Kumar but in his other two films, Charulata and Ghare Baire.

Satyajit Ray never told that Kishore Kumar is not a singer..... वल्कि वह किशोर की तारीफ किया करते थे .... और किशोर "नायक" में गाना नही गाया .... सत्यजित ने उन्हें "घरे - बाईरे " और" चारुलता " में गवाया .... किशोर कुमार .... सत्यजित रे का रिश्तेदार भी थे ....

jaake RK Narayan ki novel padh bhai. Spirituality isnt from one source. Especially in 1963 (when the movie was scripted). Osho wasnt so big then. Vijay Anand joined him much later I believe (could be wrong, galat bola ho toh bhul chuk maaf).

With all due respect...first of all Satyajit Ray did not make Kishore Kumar sing in Nayak...infact there was no song in Nayak (like most of Ray's classics). Kishore Kumar sang in Charulata and that too with only one piano....a Rabindrasangeet 'O go bideshini'. And another thing...u took the name of Ritwik Ghatak as a director and didnt mention THE GENIUS SATYAJIT RAY!!! Unke movies samajh nahi ayi hogi. Chalo koi nahi
