Please fill the exercise ball with a non newtonian fluid and drop it off the tower. My bet is it bounces or craters but doesn't burst.

It'll still bust. It's just that the internal pieces will be fractured shards coming out at first before they "melt" back into liquid form. Non-Newtonian fluid still has a shear strength limit.

Adam Nelson No chance. They are supposed to stop tiny pointed bullets. Calculating that the speed that an anvil can go dropped from 45 meters means that the force is beyond 2,000 pounds of force. Bullets might stop from bullet proof glass, but that's because they way so light. But an anvil weight from 75 to a 500 and beyond making the bullet seem tiny, making uncomprehendingly amounts of force!

It's bulletproof, as in it can take the bullets damage without breaking through the glasses surface. However an anvil is pure weight and dropping it from a height will cause the glass to immediately shatter everywhere as the blunt force will immediately puncture the surface.

Put Oobleck inside of an exercise ball and drop and anvil on it. Ingredients for Oobleck are 2:1 -> Cornstarch(CornFlour):Water

You guys should have a contest where you each make something (out of wood, metal, etc.) to withstand the atlas stone, or the bowling ball, or the mega dart, etc. You could try building like a "meteor-proof" structure :)

The additional speed from pushing it down is irrelevant compared to the speed it gets from just falling. Unless you mean from standing height, but that would be boring

water and cornstarch make a non-Newtonian fluid called Oobleck (liquid when inert but almost solid when agitated in any way, it's possible to run on it)

You guys should try dropping a large glass ampoule of cesium onto the road from the tower and fill it with an ultra high speed camera. Better to do it on a humid day, as the water in the air will react more violently with the cesium. Like if you agree!
