The problem is with my screen protector the new finger print doesn't get registered. It keeps saying place finger in the area. The green circle when registering only gets the 3/4 of the way and gives up

screen protectors can cause unintended reflections or refractions, which can mess with the fingerprint reader

Good video and all but my problem is that I already have fingerprinting set up and when I go to use my thumb there is no thumbprint on the screen it wants me to swipe the phone and put in my pin. It makes no sense to me.

Not really, you'll have to buy a specific protector which is going to cost a little bit more than usual

Mine works fine until I get to 20%. After that, it doesn't matter how I place my finger, the device does not progress any further. It just keeps asking me to press inside the circle. But it never allows me to go on. It's simply stuck at 20%. So there won't be any fingerprint biometrics for me!

Still doesn’t work for me, I have an S23 plus. Applied a screen protector to protect the screen. And nothing, it won’t work anymore
