I saw her in the 'The Witch" and I've been hooked on her ever since. She is just so mesmerizing, you just want to keep on looking at her. She really brings life to the characters she plays, it's like magic. I love you and can't wait to see your new movies!!!

@@k1medward She's actually said it shifts by locale, so it's not actually 'fake', but just one that's more adaptive in nature. You're not wrong though, about Emily or Adele, Anya often has a sort of transatlantic accent anyways, like here

@@k1medward I don't know about the other two, but can it actually be all that if you've lived and grown up in Britain? She just happens to have an accent that naturally becomes stronger or less so depending on the people she's around. It's very unconscious, so is it ACTUALLY pretentious and inauthentic? And maybe take in Anya's origins too. Doesn't seem like you have.

@@vondidi2000 if she had grown up long enough in Argentina she would’ve had an accent like Salma Hayek. She didn’t. Grew up early on in New York. Her “first accent” so to speak is clearly American as observed through all of her early videos. It isn’t until these recent years that she has changed it.

I watched all the episodes in a single day, and I don't even play chess, but I thought it was all amazing and the actor who plays Borgov did an amazing job, said almost nothing and scared me, not to mention he's beautiful, Anya is so exotic and different, the last scene of her looking at the ceiling was perfect.

I have never been very good at chess, so I didn’t think The Queen’s Gambit would appeal to me. Boy, was I wrong! So well done and I have watched it a couple times now! I really like how Anya nailed her part with intensity! Not just from her eyes but her posture and gestures! She’s a brilliant actor and I look forward to seeing her in any upcoming movies/series! She was also great hosting Saturday Night Live! She is a very versatile actress!

QUEEN'S is the best, and most excruciating thing I've seen in years. Perfect balance between acting and storyline. I was bummed out when it was over. So I thought about watching it again, but it's too intense to see again so soon. BTW I'm a pretty dang good intuitive chess player, although I read books many moons ago, I don't remember anything. I LOVE Anya and look forward to watching her transform herself into a superstar. She's just got so much charisma! (Something tells me a LOT of people are pulling for her).
