Hi, thank you for the video. I am thinking of buying this printer as I want to make multi-coloured TPU prints. I am looking to print with the really soft Recreus 82A TPU filament. Do you know if that would work with the ACE-system of this printer? Asking because it seems that the Bambu Lab printer's AMS cannot handle soft TPU filaments.

So far i like it allot. It's very similar to BL A1 series at a glance, just slight variations. The filament hub/collector, for example, directly on top of the extruder tool head looks just like the BL AMS hub part. It's pretty cool to see others getting into the multi filament game and at a competitive price. I like that the filament box is enclosed, perhaps it will work as a decent dry box for PETG etc. Can't wait for detailed review 👍. Great video. Subbed 😎

Nice first review. I have a question . How long is the lower base of the printer without the rail of the headbed do basically from food to food because I am considering to buy one but don’t know if it fits on my cupboard and also does it extend to the back of the printer or is the lower base of the printer the farthest point of the printer ?
@elsonadounsueno
@elsonadounsueno 21 күн бұрын
Official site says it is 45,3 × 50,5cm in base - bed center is somewhat in the middle of gantry and moves half lenght (~12,5cm) to the front and same to the back which logically gives you around 50cm motion range - give it some margin and guess with about 55cm in depth on a shelf you should be good to go ;)

My biggest question is can you pause a print, and swap out colors. Many anycubic printers IGNORE pause commands, OR never unpause. 4 colors is nice, but if I want to do more colors can I print for 6 hours, and then insert a gcode pause, and swap out the colors in the box, then resume?

Please take into account the file printed was only the test file Benchy that came on the machine, for this to print in under 12 minutes is very good for a bed slinger, I would never expect the quality at that speed to be prefect. @123-3D-UK Fully Understand that fact. BUT Factory Sliced Benchys of 13, 14 and 16 minutes on Bambu, Qidi Tech and Creality Machines don't look that bad. With Creality making it possible to Retro Fit a CFS on the K1 Max and Ender 3 V3 core Xz along with Bambus A1 line up of printers track record (minus the recall), and Qidi tech making good on its precious failures with the Q1 Pro, it doesn't make sense to put my faith in an Anycubic FDM machine. Trust and believe I am subscribed and waiting for a REAL review of the printer. Hopefully the Free To Review from... doesn't sway your perspective. The Kobra 3 is the only launch this year we don't plan on self purchasing for a review after repeated issues with ALL our previous Anycubics FDM printers. But I will withhold final judgements till you and others have put the machine through it's paces.

@@123-3D-UK Take into account that it's pre sliced? well...they should have actually tested it over at Anycubic to see if it actually looks good... It's all very easy to make a machine that looks like the bambu and Ankermake had a baby, throw in some features like nozzle cleaning and vibration testing. But when it doesn't perform decent in real world performances, whats the point? They all just want a slice of bambu pie. I'm currently holding of on buying the A1, because i feel alot of manufacturers are going to make some look a likes and im eagerly waiting to see how they perform. Hello, this is a very bad video in my opinion. There is only one camera and as a result, we don't see much, closer shots would have been appreciated. We cannot see how the filament is managed in the box of the 4 spools. Given the space that the lid takes up when you open it, putting a second box on top would be very difficult for me. Ditto for the screen, it doesn't seem bad, but since we can't see anything, well we don't know. We don't even get to see the machine running, well yes, 5 seconds for the benchy, what a shame... This video makes no sense... On the machine, the PTFE tubes seem a little short when the print head goes to the right side, it pulls a lot on the PTFE tubes. Cable management seems very bad. I find that plugging in the multi-color combo on the front of the printer is a mistake. And this orange cable, all we see is that, what bad taste on the part of the manufacturer! I find many faults with this machine, I will not buy it, especially after seeing your video!
