Ao Nang Market Guide: The Best Market in Ao Nang. Delicious Thai Street Food in Ao Nang Krabi Thailand. Subscribe: / darrenb3 . NEW THAI FOOD AND TRAVEL VIDEOS COMING SOON. Thai street food and shopping every Wednesday in Ao Nang.
Thai street food is some of my favourite Thai cuisine, and there is so much variety of street food in Thailand! All the food is cooked fresh, as the vendors sell it, and as I mentioned, it is truly delicious! There are lots of influences from Chinese food in Thai cuisine so you will find many familiar flavours when eating Thai food.
There is a different Thai food market open every day of the week in Ao Nang Krabi Thailand. This market is called Klong Haeng Walking Street (aka Nopparattani Wednesday Night Market. It is open every Wednesday from 4pm till 7pm.
The Google Maps location is: goo.gl/maps/nX8q5m6VFERWmRvKA
Ao Nang Wednesday Market is a great place to sample some of the amazing Krabi street food that's available. I love the markets, in my opinion seeing them is one of the best things to do in Ao Nang Krabi Thailand.

Thai Street Food is a must to try if you’re on holidays in Thailand. Thailand food markets are one of the best places to buy fresh and authentic Thai food, or to buy groceries and fruit while you travel in Thailand. There are so many Thai dishes and Thai sweets and desserts on offer and the foods here are cheap, and so tasty! You’ll find the same dishes at a fraction of the price you’d pay in a Thai restaurant. And in case you’re worried, eating street food is safe. It’s what the locals eat and it is cooked fresh and sold quickly. I’ve been eating it nearly daily since I moved to Thailand in April 2012, and my friends who have been to visit and tour Thailand have all eaten it, and none of us have had any problems. Thai street food is some of the best Thai food you’ll find in Thailand!
The markets in Thailand are a great place to get an insight into Thai culture while you travel in Thailand. You can shop alongside the locals and learn what they buy and eat. And the markets are a great place to try traditional Thai street foods, learn Thai recipes and cooking, as well as eat some of the best Thai dishes in Thailand. You'll see the people cooking the food right in front of you. Eating at markets is a good way to eat cheap and tasty Thai cuisine on your Thailand holidays. Make sure you check out some Thai Food Markets on your trip to Thailand, and be sure to sample some of the amazing Thai street food that's available in Thailand! If you want to try some of the most delicious food in the world be sure to visit Thailand!
Subscribe to my channel for my latest vlog and for more videos on what to do in Thailand and what to eat in Thailand. I post a new Thailand video every Wednesday, and often on other days too, about Thailand: places to see, things to do, tours, Thai food, Thailand markets, Thai festivals & culture, street food, Thai recipes, eating Thai food, hotels, resorts, villas, restaurants, Thailand holidays, tourism, accommodation & Thailand travel, including Phuket, Ao Nang, Krabi and other Thailand destinations.
Krabi is about 2-3 hours from Phuket by land or sea, and has world class accommodation standards comparable to what you find in Phuket hotels and resorts, but in a more relaxed environment.
If you're looking into Thailand Hotels have a look at hotels and resorts in Krabi. The islands and beaches of Krabi are famous for Thailand holidays, the movie The Beach was filmed on Krabi's Koh Phi Phi Island.
I do not own the music in this video. All songs are from www.epidemicsound.com/

Hello Darren,finally getting back to Ao nang next week after 6 years!!!!,is that sea snail curry sold cold or do they heat it ?, Cheers 👍
@darrenb3
@darrenb3 4 жыл бұрын
No, for that curry and vendor they don't have the facilities to heat it there. Some vendors like that do heat their curries though, or keep them over stoves. If you want that particular curry piping hot you'll have to work out a way to heat it yourself. I often microwave curries, or I serve them over hot rice, which is what Thai people do. As you possibly remember, Ao Nang is never "cold". Winter has just past and the coldest days here were about 31° C, so food doesn't really get "cold" at room temperature. When I ate that curry in the video the temperature was fine for me. Another option is to go to the market early (at around 3:30pm when the vendors have just opened) - the earlier you get there the hotter the curries will be. Have a great holiday 👍 👍

Sir you ever get food poisoning at any of the markets?
@darrenb3
@darrenb3 5 жыл бұрын
Generally no, and I buy food from markets like this nearly every day, but I'm careful with what I eat. If I buy chicken and it is not cooked all the way through I will either microwave it for a few minutes, or throw it in the bin, depending on where I am. If the food doesn't taste right, or smells weird I throw it in the bin. In a recent video at a restaurant they gave us our plates and they were not fully dry. I dried them thoroughly with the tissues provided on the table before using the plates. I always check my plates and cutlery to make sure they are dry before using them. Also if a market vendor or restaurant doesn't look clean I won't eat there. I did have an issue with some street food I bought from a market a few months ago. After I took it home I left it on the cupboard for around 6 hours then put it in the fridge for 4 days. After the 4 days I microwaved it and had stomach issues about 6 hours later. That wasn't the food's fault, that was irresponsible food handling. I know a few people (about 6) who have got sick while visiting here and they all believe it was from their hotel restaurants. I eat what the locals eat and that seems to work for me.
