@Elliot Kaleb thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.

Yesterday I worked at a Mcdonalds, after watching this video I'm confident enough to quit my job and open a transmission shop!! Wish me luck.

most comprehensive professional training class or DIY videos, that Far Exceeded my Expectations. Im watching them all and repairing (not overhauling) a 4R70W for my 2002 F150 4X4. Even if you dont DIY you will respect the efforts time and parts cost of a true quality overhaul.

Thanks so much I am a retired equipment technician. and still refuse to pay a shop. Long as I'm able. I found you're videos on you tube while building a 4l60e.that transmission is for a friend's Silverado. a seasoned builder taught me to always put the sharp edge of the snap ring pointing up. Or the snap ring could come unhinged. I was curious if that applies to drum retainer snap rings. By the way thanks for having these classes you are the best instructor I've seen in some time.

As you said, without saying it, the solid seals are superior. They're just a bit of a pain to install.
