Nice panel, really nice actually! And beautiful airplane! Can you please explain why you included the standalone airspeed indicator, altimeter, and turn and slip indicator? They all duplicate information provided by the Aspen. When weight (or the lack thereof) is everything in backcountry flying, why include them? Second question: what is mounted in the panel immediately beneath the control column? Thanks!

Layout is rather non-standard, but I can see GL did the best they could with the 170's weird panel shape. Why the PMA audio instead of the GMA-345?

Autopilot is nice to have but not required.

Not required, but for those of us who regularly fly single pilot IFR very helpful. But not having it is okay, I will gladly pay to add it, if I win. Fingers crossed 😊

Interesting, but a whole lot of talking without showing much of the panel and basically nothing about the capabilities of the avionics.

Hi James, thanks for watching. Like I said in the video, we are by no means experts with these new avionics. We have had next to no time to play with them or figure out all the ways that we will be able to utilize them. This was merely a video intended to showcase the new layout and instruments. Maybe a technical video can come together in the future.
