Yeah, Purifier Fields early on are a game changer, since they negate some 90-ish percent of all status effects reliably encountered in the first 20 turns. Plus, they heal pretty much almost all the damage that can be done in the opening rounds of combat. Combine that with being a *free action* & it's a little overpowered. Combine that, further, with hero buffs & it's crazy.

Hiya Buck, If you meant stacking secret tech tactical operation status effects on top of the status effect from the weapon itself then yes, that is most definitely an option for doing max damage :-)

@@FrostEesOP yes, the tactical ops and the unit equipment from a secret tech matching your race's combat channels was what I was getting at. Massive damage AND effectiveness bonuses when you go that route, along with some quick early synergies that I have quite enjoyed. a MASSIVE downside, and the reason I am with you on the idea of mismatching ST and Race is that if you are 100% kinetic and your opponents realize this...they can tech against your damage channel faster and with less investment than you could overcome it. It makes for a nice strategic option. Do you want the early game advantage at the cost of most likely losing late game viability? Great vids, still love your stuff. :)

I have not done a video on Galactic Empire as I am unsure as to what information I am able to impart that is of general use and not already covered by my other videos. In answer to your other question, pulling back from a bad start can be very difficult and there is nothing wrong with cutting your losses and making a fresh start with a little more knowledge and wisdowm under your belt 😉

@@FrostEesOP Hi! Thanks for your reply! Actually Galactic Empire in itself is pretty self-explanatory, it's the conquering planets that is the problem and you have that strategy very well covered in your videos! :-) I started a new planet today and I am definitely doing a lot better this time!

@@PandaPowerable Thank you, I think the key is to reading the traits of each planet and using your knowledge to pick the best race and secret tech to counter these.
