The build I absolutely love in varus right now that I have seen Sneaky go is attack speed ap varus. You go Nashors into rift maker and thne just straight ap and pen. You also go Lethal tempo and take a Dorans blade first for the early dmg and max w. Its really fun and surprisingly viable. You deal true dmg autos and can kill anyone that is near 50% with 3 autos w q

Is the mage varus viable in high elo?

man nice gameplay! the highest i ever reached was diamond in EUW and i play the game since the beta :D after i reached diamond with poke ad or ap varus botlane i only got matched with people who instandly tilted because i had comet with varus and i also didnt played him ap many times just ad poke because my team tilts every time they see me getting one 435 gold ap item ... i quit rankeds because of that -.- i should play rankeds again i guess... but im so scared ot his community :(

You should spend some time working on the quick proc after ult. I haven't played Varus in a while, but I think you can auto once, hit e, auto twice and hit/charge Q, and you can do it about as fast as you did when you were waiting. Maybe not quite as fast, but the double proc of all 3 early is definitely worth since you seem to like playing him

I was playing a game today and got to 13/2 as adc. I thought the game was over, but the midlane ap varus started just oneshotting me on cooldown as I kept disrespecting his damage. He quoted the first part of the vid title almost verbatim lol. This was about when the video was posted, maybe an hour before. I just find the coincidence really funny.
