"One shot" in LoL usually means a full skill rotation kills someone from 100%. So in theory that could include Q, auto, trap, E, and R

Nice to see a Lethality Caitlyn enthusiast! She does indeed scale like a monster if she gets an early lead, but it also depends on the team she is facing. LDR is always a solid item if the enemy is building armour, this is true. But good sir, may I recommend the finest from Serylda's brewery? The Grudge is a positively refreshing addition to our cellar, with a minty fresh aftertaste that is bound to leave your guests positively chilled. Some could state that much akin to Lord Dominik's best batch, Serylda's is equally if perhaps slightly less disarming. Yet I assure you sir, that where the Lord's tastiest reserves bedazzle the enjoyer with their grandiose, intense flavours. Serylda's is known for it's longevity. A single bottle offers a seemingly unending amount of enjoyment for every guest at every turn, ensuring that no single partaker in your hunts will go wanting. Of course, if you wish for a spot of tea instead, I'd be delighted to bring that instead sir. Or. Dominik's is solid damage, but Serylda's offers a bit of utility, the anti-armour properties, but also fuels the Lethality Caitlyn's strengths more due to even more additional cooldown reduction from ability haste. Both are solid choices, but given how much more Lethality Cait relies on positioning and gameplay around her abilities, the CDR provided by Serylda's is incredibly solid. This finalized with the crime against nature that is Axiom Arc, and you will be a consistent machine that makes everything below the HP grade of a juggernaut or bruiser fear for it's life. And given that it can force people to step out of position or waste/burn resources that they could instead use in a fight, it's a pretty eerie presence to just HAVE. The scariest part of it is that until you fully partake in a fight? If you as Caitlyn manage to stay hidden, your very "lack" of presence becomes the stuff of nightmares. Because everybody knows that you can be there, waiting for someone to engage, and that one ult can do so much for so little. It's such a basic ability for an ultimate, but the effect, the ever-present threat of a sniper waiting to take advantage of your mistakes is there. And once the fight goes full-swing, your sheer area denial with traps and your Q is immense due to the very credible danger of: "Oop, I stepped on a trap and my screen turned grey half a second later." I do not mean to rant this to you, as I know this pile of text most likely took that appearance swiftly! We've played this game for a long while, and you are on a considerably higher average level than I am. And I am certain that you've thought about a multitude of items and their benefits/cons anyway. Merely some friendly pointers even after an awesome domination of a game. Cheers! Splendid shot, sir.

TBH, I've faced Cait mid a few times as a mage midlaner. The first time, I underestimated her damage and the player. The second time, a little less so. Every time after that, I curse under my breath whenever I see it and just hope to make it to mid game XD. It's been a while since I've played mid since now I'm mainly using ADC's, like Jinx or Kindred. That said, I might have to try out Cait if I ever get autofilled mid or don't want to play bot. Also, btw, IDK if you noticed, but you actually finished the game w/ 1 kill a minute XD 25 kills in 25 minutes. Pretty sweet, not gonna lie.

It's so interesting to see you go help at 2:25, my thought was your wave is really bad and you can't go yet, but it worked out huge for you. I guess it's a matter of getting more specific than "my wave is bad" to "we win this specific fight if I rotate"...

Do Cait traps not have a like half second setup before they activate?

Would this build (or a variation of it) be viable at all in higher elos? Obviously not challenger, but maybe diamond. Personally, I feel like it could be somewhat viable, because ADCs mid are already a thing anyway (zeri, lucian, varus), so it shouldn't be that bad, right?

Her W scales both with AP directly of course but the multiplier from the W-jump also scales so that after 200 AP its above 1.0 - it can surprise people in teamfights if you have like 500 AP 🙂

lord doms is also always worth EVEN if they dont build armor. also blue trinket is quite nice with cait ult.

About this dash from Diana... Katarina E also is a dash but it might will be helpful to know for you that it works like a blink so you can also dash true veigar cages for example. I saw this once in a vid and it helps actually some times.

If you need two or more abilities its a hundred to zero. But the internet is always about exaggerating until the exaggeration is taken as the real meaning, and then the process repeats. Like inting literally means PURPOSELY getting yourself killed, then meant stupidly getting yourself killed, now seems to mean just dying. So... Same with "one shot".
