In this video Heimler reviews everything you need to know about AP World History Unit 2. This unit is all about the connections (and the consequences of those connections) among the various states we met in Unit 1. The main avenue of connection for these states were the major trade routes, including the Silk Roads, the Indian Ocean Network, and the Trans-Saharan Trade Network. And perhaps most significant of all, the Mongol Empire was responsible for increasing levels of connection during this period.

@@eurmal5681 Figure out the big picture first. So just very basic information about certain empires, where they where, and what religion they were. Then go into more details like trading influence, rules, conflicts. and keep going into more detail.

id say most ap history courses are more about the skill in writing SAQ, LEQ and DBQs... the content is never the most important part, you just gotta know some of the major points and continuities and relations... minor details will always be provided in stimulus... get cracking on those leqs and saqs...

I took AP World last year and ended with a 4 on the test. You’re review packet was a life saver and if I would have finished it I strongly believe I would have gotten a 5. I’m taking College American History instead of APUSH and unfortunately the APUSH videos do not follow the same curriculum. I thank you for all that you do and the incredible help with last year. I hope for the best for this years AP World class. You guys got this! It’s really not that that bad! THANK YOU HEIMLER!

could someone clarify how it makes sense that he said merchants on the silk road traded rare and valueable goods because of the long distance it was a hassle, but then he said the difference between the silk road and indian ocean network was that more common items were trade on the road while the ocean network had rarer goods??
