It was not Aristide's 1991 sworn-in at that time, it was rather President Preval who was passing him the baton in 2001 after leading the Haitian nation during a five years full term. Rene' Preval was a guy from his Lavalas party who legally replaced Aristide in the electoral votes of 1996 as a result a popularity. When Aristide became President of Haiti for the first time he wasn't married yet. In this picture we see him with Mildred Trouillot who became his wife a year after he returned to Haiti from a long exil (1991- 1994) that lasted almost 3 years. Aristide and Mildred got married on January 20, 1996 while Jean Bertrand Aristide was finishing his 1st Presidency. And after Preval 5 years as President, Aristide regained power by popular vote. That is what you are showing us in this video.
