We get today to hear some real life stories from locals who had a taste of the apartheid times in South Africa during the days of apartheid. These were indeed dark time so let us edge history and learn from the mistakes of the past so as not to repeat them.

THEY are NOT South Africans. South Africans Were never United As A Nation , We Are Different Nations or Tribes as Colonial reference Dictates , READ about . EMFECANA or Difaqane. And Stop TALKING Too Much ABOUT Things YOU KNOW Nothing About !!Be A responsible VLOGGER.. you are in A Country for few DAYS ,Suddenly you are MR Solution?? What ARROGANCE and Disrespect of your HOSTS. You are From KENYA okay South Is Much Sophisticated and Far Developed than YOUR Country, SO Stop the B/S like Nigerians Confusing Politeness /Friendliness as Weakness .NO Wonder you like Julius MALEMA the TYRANT and Dictator. South Africa does not WANT your Ignorant Social media influenced Political Opinion Save it for Kenya.

Wow! Check out some of Bob Marley's songs. 1. Zimbabwe 2.War...Bob Marley's interpretation in a song from a speech by Haile Selassie. Jamaicans were extremely conscious of the apartheid system in South Africa. They took away lands form the black farmers and gave it to the whites... Blacks were 2nd class citizens. "Until the philosophy that holds one race superior and another inferior/is finally and permanently/discredited and abandoned/until the colour of a man's skin is of no more significance than the colour of his eyes/this yah war...🇯🇲Bob Marley song War, extracted form Haile Selassie speech. I'm not a historian, it was always in the news...long before Social media. Rastamen were very conscious of it.

All those people who were coming from the rural areas in the past regime were not allowed as they were stamps in the dompas just like an an id document. So if they had no permits dhowing that they should or came for work they will be arrested and given 48hrs out of johannesburg..

Apartheid also happened in Namibia under the Afrikaners regime after the Germans left Namibia the Afrikaners were told to oversee the independence of Namibia but instead they started their own apartheid regime on the Namibian people and everything that Mpho said also happened to the Namibians, no white bread for blacks, pass for blacks if visiting towns from villages, no gatherings, locations in towns were divided according to tribes, the Afrikaners were living in the suburbs far from blacks

@Tarubini1 Ask a question Mark don't assume, there's always an answer. There are 100 bronze statues of Freedom Fighters of all races in a series called "Long March to Freedom", they move around the country for display in different areas, you can Google the name and see who the 100 people include. Oh, there's a Brenda Fassie statue in Newtown, Jhb. Pick a name, we shall tell you how their memory has been preserved, don't worry about Paul Kruger.
