Hi y’all and welcome back to our dumpster diving channel!! First things first, I just want to say thank you to everyone who tuned in for our garage sale live stream!! We had so much fun hanging out with y’all and getting to experience the sale together. A full video will be up later next week that shows our prep / sale / and the total we made!
Enjoy our first dive out after college move out - we found some really nice items and I love the watering bulbs and wooden end table. We are keeping those for our house!

Welcome back, y'all!! This was our first dive back after college move out and we found some really awesome stuff. I also really embarrass myself about 29 minutes in when someone came to throw trash away and I thought it was Alex!! I totally didn't realize until editing it back LOL! Well.. it happens! I wish I had someone to go with but my husband and daughter in law both passed away this year and I'm so lonely. I need something to keep me occupied. I love your videos and your husband's deep voice reminds me of my husband's so much. It was a great haul today .😊❤🎉

The water bulbs can still be used even if the stem is broken. As long as the bulb is whole.

Or maybe sand down the broken part and use it in a smaller plant Or just to decorate. The sun is beautiful coming through those. And the mushrooms are plant watering things ☺️

White vinegar will remove any stink from smelly items, I know some don't like the way vinegar smells, but there will not be any smell of vinegar after washing. And it's a great softener.

A little tip: you can take your larger area rugs to a car wash and use the do it yourself option and wash those rugs. It’s good you have a truck to put the wet rug in to get it home.

Wash it that way first and buy some Ado-Ban. You find it at Walmart in the air freshener part and put a cup full in the wash with a very little amt of laundry doap. It will disinfect znd make it smell great. Use it on those scraps of material and clothes. For a load use a cup of the Ado-ban and half a cup of laundry soap. I use it in my smelly towels too. Try it. It's about 10.00$ a gallon. They have ut in a spray too to use around your home. 😊😊

Kelly, here's a tip that might help if those things still smell when you wash them. Two things to have in your arsenal...1)borax washing powder (20 mule team) 2)Tea Tree Oil. This is what I know. When I was caring for my mother before she died, sometimes I had to wash urine sheets. Borax was the only thing that got the smell out. Also, I've read that people who have had house fires used it to salvage clothing items that were okay but, smelled like soot or mildew because of the water to put the fire out. I also once left a load of clothes in the washer and forgot. UGH! I looked online and found where you could put 10 drops of Tea Tree oil in a large load of mildewed clothes to take out the odor and disinfect them. IT WORKED! Hope this helps y'all. Btw, thank you for your infectious laugh. I really needed it today.

I have used a big dump of baking soda and it seems to help - sometimes had to do it a couple of times. Gonna try your Borax - sounds promising!

My daughter had that tall cage and she had rats. People think they are gross pets but they were really sweet. So happy you guys are back. You two just make me smile no matter what kind of day I am having. Happy diving ❤

My friend used his for ferrets but they slso had their own room. He had four and when he got a divorce he kept the home, cage and two ferrets. 😊

That stool brings back so many memories,my husband had one identical to that same color but he used it when he would cut our sons and grandsons hair. Unfortunately he passed away in December 14,2021 with covid

We used to soak cloth diapers in a pail with borax and water. All sorts of crafters love sewing patterns. I've bought them at rummage sales and yard sales. Tina, Al's wife (age 74)

terraa cotta seepers, sounds like some sort of swamp snake, but they work for succulents and such. they are expensive sometimes. Ya gotta warm dumpster pancakes up before you eat them, it kills the mold.

Hi guys!! What a great dive!! Y'all are priceless!! I was chuckling through the whole video!! Watering the trash bags & yelling at poor guys throwing away their trash 😂😂😂 hilarious!! Also a fabric softener! I use vinegar for every rinse cycle...and there's no odor!

Yep, I also put some baking soda in with the vinegar. Clothes and towels come out so soft. You don't need any fabric softner.

That cage is identical to my daughter's ferret cage. Oh gosh, that sad note about the yelling mom sure hit a nerve. My daughter when she was around 5 was extremely stubborn. I had asked/told her about 10 times to pick up her toys up out of the doorway. On the 11th time I said it with some force to let her know I was serious. She looked at me and said Please don't yell at me, I'm just a little kid. No doubt she heard that in kindergarten 😂

I'm thinking the cage is for a ferret. It's not the right kind for a bird or guinea pig which I've had before. The ugly bed was for the ferret to sleep on/ in. Just a thought.

Put the leaves in a vase of water, some plants they will grow roots. You can also look plants up on your phone, it will tell you what the name of the plant is and its care.

Hello Everyone! That "optician" humor was spot on! I see better with 2 (looking at the trash) ... no offense Kelly! 🤣 Some people should never be mothers-fathers! That was a very sad note ... it's apparent the child is traumatized by his mother's yelling to write it down. That "mother" didn't care enough to shred it or tear it up ... no shame!

The note was so heart breaking but know one said it would be easy raising children but they did say it would be worth. It had to be a single Mom doing her best, one thing her children sure loved her... Enjoyed the video and I also enjoyed the yard sale live it was very entertaining! Irrigation water tool, can also use a soda bottle inverted into the soil to water plants.

Those water jugs are also great for saving coins in. The cage would be great for bones to be in when outside (in shade)

The thing you called a cage is actually a Catio, you push it up against an open window so kitty can enjoy the outside without getting lost.

I laughed at first because I thought, that you thought, it was Alex. And I just saw your comment where you said you did think it was Alex.
