The second installment of my apartment makeover series is here! Thanks for your patience with uploading late - I've had a busy couple of weeks (and you'll see why in a couple of vlogs from now!). In the meantime I hope you enjoy this video, where we'll be painting my kitchen, making functional updates to my hallway and closet, and decorating my apartment with more plants!

I love how your closet came together! For cats, they can be really picky about where they sleep. If your kitty doesn't use the bed in the spot its at, try moving it to a different location after about a week. Also they tend to favor different areas depending on the season! So good luck with that! I would also consider a fluffy throw blanket as an alternative to a "cat bed" as well. It is great to put on your sofa, chair, or even your bed!

Great to see the place coming together. I'm a furst time kitty mom too this past few months. It's been a journey. I do wonder how she'll be once i move out

I live in the city without a car with cats. I cannot recommend to you enough the Travel Cat Navigator Backpack. My cats even sleep in it during the day. Its perfect for walking to the vet, bussing, cycling, even airplanes.

that spot by the window definitely needs a cat tree!! the cat bed might be good in the reading nook! its all up to the cats preference though, my cats refuse to use their beds :(

Erin! I’m happy to see a video from you. I watched your DC apartment tour a while ago and have since found your channel really nice and relatable:) I’m sorry you don’t feel your best appearance-wise in this video-I know how that feels, especially with breakouts! Cute place. Consider moving the cat litter into your bathroom. Otherwise, your clothes will spell like kitty litter.

I've been using the litter box in the entryway closet for a few months now, and I've haven't noticed any smell thankfully! I mainly hang large jackets and shoes in there, all the rest of my clothes are safe and sound in my walk-in closet :)
