I did laugh at the reveal that you bought it, I have to admit, but it’s the perfect shape and size for your space! The L-shape helps separate the living space from the sleeping area. Well done at making it work!

Your ceiling is so high. It looks like the plant is on a corner shelf. I would bring that down also and the print behind your sofa is do lonely. Im a designer and the sectional which i like has a lower back so you need to bring wall decor down somewhat and put several more things on the wall with your print.

I prefer a more minimal aesthetic with my art and decor, so I'm very happy with how I have these things set up for now! Thank you for the tips though, I will consider them if I do a refresh at some point

Can you float the couch and move it from the wall? If you put the couch opposite your bed with the back facing your bed would give more of a visual divide from the bedroom/ living room

I've thought about that, but my desk and chair are on the wall opposite where the couch is in the video... so moving the couch that way would actually block off a lot of walking space!

Thank you for visiting our town! East Nashville is a wonderful part of Nashville. Broadway isn't what Nashville is all about. East Nashville feels more our vibe. One of my daughters also attends Vandy. I hope you felt our welcoming vibe and return again soon. Love your cat -we have five and I can't imagine being away from them for long ;)

Hi Erin! I just recently found your channel, your Fletcher album reaction got recommended by the algorithm, and thank god, you seem like such a lovely person! I can relate to so many things (20 something queer, living alone, going thru the summer while being single, etc) I'm just at the other side of the world (living in Europe) and I feel like my work-life balance is not that great as yours. So it feels so refreshing to experience your positivity and your great vibes thru the videos. Your home is literally goals (that reading nook is everything!), and I just wanted to thank you, you inspired me to take myself out on some solo dates, I decided to go hiking tomorrow after work. Honestly, a lot of it was lucky timing! But I've since moved out of this apartment because my rent went up + I wanted more space. I'm now in a bigger studio for $1450, which I also got because of lucky timing and expressing my interest heavily to the landlord!

That sounds like a steal too! Both of the studios I've lived in are rental controlled, so that definitely plays a part in it too. A one bed in my current or previous building would be much closer to $2000 as well!

If u ever want an extra console top I bought a piece of furniture from Refine Feline and it looks like a black console but has a litter box hidden inside. So I have extra space for items to place on top and my little ones box is still hidden away.

What a cute apartment and you have decorated it well!! If it were me, I would arrange my living area (sofa, etc) around that gorgeous bay window…and would have my bed on the far left wall as you enter the living space. Nonetheless, your place is adorable. Enjoy and best wishes!

In short, it means that there is a legal limit on the amount that my landlord can charge for rent. Some older apartment buildings in DC are rent controlled as well… but most newer buildings are not!

@@brasilfreak24 My building is owned by an individual landlord, so there isn't a leasing office... but Imani At Home here on KZfaq has a blog post on her website that lists other rent controlled buildings in NW DC!
