I know the cost of living is a main concern for many folks when moving, well today we are going on a FULL apartment tour in Oklahoma City 🏡. We are showing you TWO DIFFERENT complexes and TWO DIFFERENT UNITS in each complex. We are going to let you know what you can expect to get for $1000 or less in Oklahoma City and all the amenities that come with it. Oklahoma City is one of the best places to move if you are looking for low cost of living. Hopefully this apartment hunt will help you out when moving to Oklahoma. Not sure what you do for a living, but you show apartments more professionally than some "seasoned" realtors! Great job!! Love these apartment tours, ya'll should tour the new ones being built in Moore called The Curve. I'm pretty sure you can tour the model apartments already and I see people asking about them all the time in various groups on social media

I word of advice, which by the way has nothing to do with discrimination. I myself am of mixed race. Be very cautious with regards to who will be your neighbors. I am currently living near Indian computer engineering students. Ever since they moved in I have been having issues with my Wifi and computer network being hacked. Besides that, they like to save money and so they will fit about 4 people in a one bedroom apartment. Which causes excessive noise at all hours. Additionally they like having phone conversations outside which usually tends to be in front of other tenants apartments which can cause a disturbance. When they use the laundry room they leave the clothes in the machines over night and do not clean up after themselves once they are done. Additionally, They are not very clean in general. Once a cat must have taken a dump near their front door and they never cleaned it up. This attacted flies in my home. It was a mess.

Oh no that's horrible. I'm so sorry to hear about that. We have had our share of bad neighbors but we finally got a decent one and it's been wonderful!

This apartment is HUGEEE I live in AZ and an apartment like this would be 3k + for a 2 bdrm I am floored lol. That kitchen is the size of my living room and I pay 1700 lol I am looking to move to OKC September thanks for the great tour love the choices. If there's availability this is on my list

Are you looking to rent an apartment, hotel stay, or like an air bnb for a week? These apartments are located in NW OKC and SW OKC. The ones up north have more stuff around them so I can suggest something up that way.

You do have to pay for bills. I hardly ever see all bills included anymore around here unfortunately. For most apartments you will pay water & electric. And usually they have a preferred internet provider depending on the hookups either Cox or AT&T

Also sometimes water is billed through the apartment and not through the water company so it'll be included in your rent. Thanks for watching!

How are the winters there (OKC)? I’m from Maine and use to long winters but I’d like a break.

Winter in OKC is pretty mild, I believe our worst month is February. Last year our winter was hectic with plenty of snow and ice, but overall winter is very tolerable.

Yea most places do a month to month after your inital lease but it's usually a lot higher in rent. Like for example rent could be $950 on a year lease but month to month is $1450.

Are you all still in OKC? I have often thought about moving there. I just want a safe and quiet neighborhood. I am looking for a studio or 1 bedroom apartment with washer and dryer in unit.

Yes, we are still here! The Landing apartments in this video are quiet and out of the way but the other one in this video is in a more bustling area. Yukon would be good for quiet and safe in my opinion. Look into Lindsey Property management. I've known people to stay in several of their complexes in norman, Yukon, moore, okc and they have all liked it. They usually have a wait list to get in though so you may want to inquire early if you do decide to check them out.

Very good! It's a suburb of okc so it's easily accessible. It's getting built up out there and from my research newer housing additions seem to be slightly cheaper out that way. I don't have kids but I hear the school system is great as well.

A couple of apartments do. I know that District on 119 does and so does a newer complex on 19th in Moore I forget the name.

Do you have family or friends to stay with? Maybe try to get a small apartment where you don't have to pay a bunch for a deposit to move in.

Newer? I can't think of any really at that price point. Alot of older apartments will be around that price or you could find an apartment that is older but had the insides renovated that may be around that price on the nw side. Try around memorial area or nw expressway

Yes, in the spring time usually but it can happen anytime depending on if the conditions are right.

Thank you for sharing this video! I will be moving to Oklahoma in the next 6-8 months. I am trying to find a job before I get there. These apartments are beautiful.
