I feel like the reason why the line "The Solari Do not see. We shine brightest with another's light" also has to do with the fact that the moon reflects the sun's light. Without the sun, the moon would not be able to shine, without the moon, the sun can only reach to targon when it's daytime there. So basically, the reason why the solari have to work with the lunari is because they need each other to get rid of darkness. It's not just the sun, and secretly the moon is dependent on the sun

First it's the color story of Diana, where she closes a portal in some ruins (maybe from the Void). Then we have the stuff of the Marai, who use a Moonstone to close a Void portal. Another clue is the darkin storyline, where the power of the Moon was used to trap them. I think that the main power of the Moon is sealing/banishing magic, and if an invasion happens, Targon will need that power to close the portals.

Aphelios is literally just Master Chief, they both barely ever talk and both have a 2nd person in them that talks to them and helps them out. They also have a huge arrangement of weapons at their disposal. Prove me wrong

"Diana knows the Moon's name." I think that just means she knows the name of the Aspect of the Moon. So far, the only Aspect we know the name of is Pantheon, the Aspect of War. The Protector and the Trickster seem more like alternative titles for the Aspects that Taric and Zoe have. The Aspects of Justice, Sun, and Moon have yet to be given anything resembling a proper name. I feel like what this is meant to signify is that the actual names of the Aspects are meant to be kept secret, but their vessels may inherently gain that knowledge upon being chosen.

When I hear them talk about "the darkness" I think about the literal realm called "the darkness" that nocturn currently resides in. Cause if you remember: the darkness is basically the mockery of the spirit realm and mortal realm. I feel like this is alluding to another champion or a nocturne rework far off into the future that wants the dark realm to rule over all realms.

I just find it interesting that they're named ApHELIOS and ALUNE Helios referring to the Sun and Lune meaning Moon/Lunar, but despite that, they're both lunari.

I think the 'fleeing, what have you done' interaction to Diana was meta-wise using the Solari Elder Massacre as a red herring in order to actually reference whatever had happened on Ionia that Diana was apparently returning from. Lots of recent things seem to be shifting a larger-scale lens onto Ionia, like the Awakened m/v for one example.

I think the "darkness" Alune is talking about isn't the Void because the Void is always represented as the "silence". Even Aatrox said that. Maybe the darkness is actually related to the place where Nocturne dwells or the false realm that Karma was talking about, the Shadow Realm. Anyway, I think this is an entirely new, different calamity.

Watching this after the ruination event(presumably the great darkness fortold) just makes me wish more champs, especially Aphelios and Leona, were somehow involved or at least affected. Obviously they couldn't all be sentinels, but it would have been nice to see them doing something.

Zoe also mentions something about the darkness or change is coming. I think that it could have something to do with Morgana. She is the Justice engulfed in shadow. Morgana could be seeing a rise in her power sometime in the lore?

Diana actually slaughtered a bunch of solari after she became the aspect. It’s in Leonas lore. They both climbed mount targon and became the aspects and ended up fighting each other. Diana had her weapon to leonas throat but then fled. When Leona went back home her people were slaughtered by Diana. So I’m assuming that’s why she fled to Ionia.

The Lore has always been what I love about League even way back when I started playing around S4 and it's nice to see them expanding on it even more today. It's also the reason why I'll always choose League over Dota/Dota2.

It's a stretch but could the darkness that Alune mentions when not in direct reference to the Lunari hiding, but the threat that the aspects know of actually be referencing a rising of the demons, not the Void? Nocturne has several voice lines mentioning darkness in general and it's a big chunk of his powers/character. While I don't know that he could do much by himself, surely the 10, if all present at the same time, could wreak havoc. (Again, I think it's a big stretch and Riot seems pretty attached to the Void spread being a major threat.)
