I like the idea of keeping Shaco as some unknown folklore figure that people don't know anything about, and if they go searching for answers, they are met with an unfortunate end.

The one thing I miss from the old old league is the journals. I love this kind of in-universe storytelling. I remember how Nocturn was teased in it with maintenance staff on the Rift going missing or something like that. All those years I kinda hoped they would bring something like this back instead of just having champions pop out of nowhere

Cho is just a ripoff of Violator from Spawn, Kog is just a Tremors ripoff, Twitch is just another Zahn mutant for the rat king fans, Corki is a generic plug for World War aviation junkies and Shako is a juggalo. There I put a bow on it.

Forgive me if I'm just stating the obvious, but my guess is that they are halting new lore updates while they consolidate their multiverse into one so that the MMO team has a concise and clear lorebase to work off of.

I will forever love Necrit for being a good critic. He puts as much effort in highlighting the good things as he does in pointing out the bad things. With this, you get a much wider perspective and you can even leave the video with some kind of an optimistic feeling about the future!
