This is a well known street food recipe from the streets of Kolkata. This is popular amongst ofice goers and commuters alike. This is the non veg/chicken laden version of the famous white pea snack/dish called ghugni. This goes well as a stand alone dish or with bread slices or parathas/ luchis. Ingredients -
Ghugni Matar (Soaked) - 200 gms
Diced chicken - 200 gms
Chopped onion - 1 large
Ginger garlic paste - 1.5 tsp
Chopped tomato - 1 large
Whole green chillies - 2 pcs
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Bay leaf - 1
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1/4 th tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/4 th tsp
Salt as per taste
Mustard oil - 4 tbsp
