Notice how they show THE OLD GUYS in the audience... I'm 66. I started with cello in the mid 60s. Pablo Casals and regular nights out to the symphony hall with the family were my inspiration. Now I'm a big fan of both these bands and of most folk, symphonic and doom metal especially. I fall burning and hazard trees in forest fires, drive extreme haul trucks at a gold mine, ride exotic Italian motorbikes and I'm taking up wingsuiting. Telling you kidos and listen to me now: Life is precious and life is short. Just having a body and walking upon this unlikely world itself is miraculous. Need not be reckless or ruthless, but focus, work hard, live your life with gusto, go all-out for your dreams and believe me, amazing things can happen. 😎

Ahhh! Saw this with my own eyes in Lisbon... what a beautiful moment. Simone's voice was echoing through the theatre and the performance was pitch perfect! Even her dress was a perfect match to add to the wow effect!

I was slightly disappointed this one didn't make the setlist in the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, though Epica's "Rivers" featuring Apocalyptica was just as great and a memory to be forever cherised in my music-loving heart.

Jesus Christ, this one hit me hard. I've recently fully seperated from a ten year marriage, which was overall nearly a twenty year relationship... At 36, for the first time since high school, I navigate a path alone and from here I can't see where it goes. It's frightening, but once the D word was said and she meant it: I knew I had to let her go and accept her need to find her own path. I cannot control what becomes of her choices, but I will rise again and always love her for what we made before.
