I don't know why they don't complete the statement about women covering their head as it is written in the bible in 1 corinthians 11:4-5. It is obviously stated that it is dishonourable for men to cover their head and dishonourable for women to live their head open during prayers, but they read 1cor 10 when it's time for holy communion but not 1cor 11 when it comes to covering of head.

Hello Brethren, I love your exegesis of the word and your reply to the comments. When you mention the sabbath as an example,i believe you ahould know we dont keep that law. First of all, sabbath is meant to be the last day of the week exodus 20:10, and we arenot meant to work on that day exodus 31:14, which means even though we keep that law partially now, the bibke wasnot interpreted and lived literally on that. Which means this can be applied to other parts of the bible as well, when you understand the history of the bible, you will understand that it was interpreted from Many languages, the 1 Corinthians was written in hebrew, so i believe going back to the original text helps alot when things like this happen. When i checked the original text, it explains that a man that prays or prophesies with his head covered (that is against God) dishonours God, you can confirm this please. The preposition that stands for with his head covered is KATA, do check the original text, and this applies downwards.

The biggest problem in bible interpretation is when we make literal translation from comparison. Again, never equate a personal instruction to a general doctrine for The church. There are person-specific consecration don't translate that into a general doctrine for The church.

The priest had a headdress...were they removing(the mitre or whatever name it had) when ministering before God?...if you pray with a hat on....will the prayers fall to the ground?..will God ignore your prayers?...will the devil take them up because of a cap? Does God watch to see whether the ones praying have a cap/hat on/off before answering prayers?...are faith prayers null and void when one has a cap on?...is it sin to have a cap on when praying?...or wearing one if your are in an attitude of prayer most of the time?

Don't make a big deal out of this, cover you hair if you want, the hair forms part of a ladies beauty(her glory)...but if you do the physical covering so well and neglect the spiritual one which is more important, you would be cheap meat for the devil to ride on.... Hence diligence in physical covering of the hair without the spiritual covering is HYPOCRISY with a red flag. Furthermore this explanation might not be necessary but for that verse 15, it speaks of having a longer hair which is rare and highly adorable to behold, hence you are advised to cover it not to constitute a distraction in the congregation. As stated in the scripture the longer hair is her glory and in a congregation of saints only one Glory should be beheld and that's the Glory of God, and God will not share his Glory with any man..selah!

The Scripture is clear. If the woman does not cover then the man should , but since the man is the head, the woman must cover her head. Her hair is one covering and the covering the apostle Paul asked about if it iz "comely" ( 1Cor. 11: 13 )for a woman to pray uncovered, is another covering.
