My husband swore he'd seen one when camping in Colorado during an elk hunt. Then a few years after moving into our newly built home out in the country in Missouri, he said he'd seen one not far from our house. I know there were a few times that things that hit the outside of our log home , and we could smell someone horrible when it did. We also had a black panther that roamed our woods. Conservation refused to believe it till I caught a picture of it, and the footprint it left.

Hey Donnie, I believe. We have a Huge Mountain Lion living on Mt Equinox. He's a solo male! I live right in the thick of the Green Mountains. I know the Bigfoot live here I can feel it 😳. Thanks for this conversation, it needs to be said. I'm a bit spooked about going deep intothe woods anymore 😱. JO JO IN VT 💞

One real early morning in 2008, I saw a cougar on the side of the road here in middle Tennessee. A local farmer who lives in the area said he'd also seen it and that it had killed some of his cattle. There are definitely things out there. Thanks for sharing Mr.Laws. God bless you, my friend.

Around the same year here in East TN in a small town just outside Chattanooga I had just picked up a friend and was leaving his house. As we passed a field with cattle the cows caught my attention because they were running. Of the hundreds of times I had passed by there, I had never seen them run. Then I brought my car to a stop in the middle of the road because I noticed that they were all herded together chasing a black panther/Jaguar out of their field. It was dusk but it was so black you could easily see it. Its body was about the same length as the cows and it was just slightly shorter and it had a big puffy long tail that ran slightly down off it's backside then swooped way up taller than the cows and then back down for 6-12" or so. The cows were running at full speed quickly shuffling their feet in short strides while the large cat was just barely prancing/trotting way out in front of them as it it was teasing them. I have yet to meet another person who says they have ever seen one other than me and my buddy who was with me.

Some places have websites for trail cams, say eastern Kentucky, smokey mountains, northern West Virginia etc. On the sites they may have animals like deer, turkey, bear, then they have animals that were spotted not suppose to be in our area ( or something similar), in so many cases there are Panther pictures where DNR says there isn't any, also seen a black bear one when they said there weren't any, a few months later that non existent bear got hit by a truck and killed right in the middle of all the sightings. Although I've never seen a Bigfoot or booger, I had a family member that did and she wasn't a story teller, this was in the 40s and she called it an apeman. Great story and I like your approach to even if you've never seen it there is way too many people that have, the kind of people that refused to lie and just told what they seen. Take care! Have a great weekend.

Hey there Donnie, I'm a retired Government Wildlife Biologist a d still work part-time, and I've done a lot of work in, and have spent a whole lot of time in the Appalachian Mountains. And while I have no tangible evidence, I've cough glimpses of and have heard things that simply can not be explained. As I'm sure you do as well, I am very similar with and know all the known wildlife species in the Appalachian Mountains, I know their physical characteristics as well as calls and vocalisations. And I can tell you, I've seen and heard things that are simply not among the known wildlife. All my best wishes to you, "The White Man's Story Teller," and you keep up your valuable work telling the stories so all remember my friend.

I was hoping that you would do a video on this. Please follow up with some of the stories that you mentioned; we would LOVE to hear them! Panthers have been seen in these mountains for many generations. I don't know how anyone can say otherwise. As for the creatures who live just out of sight, people will not see what they choose not to see because it's too upsetting to admit, and disturbs their sense of the world they think they know. That includes so-called experts with fancy credentials. Because they haven't seen it, and don't have a dead creature to examine, they dismiss what others have experienced. Arrogance is a great blinder to truth.

Wow.. Mr. Donnie Laws ~ Thanks ❤ for your amazing presentation on the Appalachian Mystery of Bigfoot and Cryptids... Boogers they are definitely real creatures living in the mountains of Appalachia. Now myself I don't want to say it was luck 🍀 having several up-close encounters with the hairy giants...Plus I do recall the first time I laid eyes upon AN ACTUAL Dogman, I was indeed dumbfounded not knowing these creatures even existed.... Wondering what kind of dark magic was beholden upon me at that time, then quickly reasoned out of it by knowing Bigfoot existed why not these Walking Wolves !

I was wearing my "Pisgah Volunteer" jacket one morning when I was in Hendersonville. A fella came up ro me and said he'd just seen a black painter dead in the road on the Greenville watershed. He told me he thought maybe it should be turned over to some group to study. So, I drove on down the watershed. I never did find that dead panther, but I saw the blood and sign where it had been drug off into the woods. I lived in Saluda, NC at the time and every now an again I'd hear a painter scream. The sound would raise the hairs on my arm. That was out Warrior Mountain.

I grew up in north Greenville County near Travelers Rest. Back in the 60s. My dad would take us kids camping every summer to a place north of the watershed called Bald Rock, just before you get to Ceasars Head mtn. We'd sit around the campfire at night telling stories and it would be so spooky sometimes. My dad's friend would always talk about black panthers in them there woods. We always thought he was just trying to scare us. But NOW believe he was serious 😮😮. Further up the old trail there was an old abandoned house that had some kind of bones tied onto the front porch. Although it was in the 60s that house looked like it was way more than 100 years old. I get chills thinking about it still.

And there have been plenty of times when I knew I was being watched. But watched by Who or What? I never knew. Great video, Donnie. Thanks and keep up the good work. Blessings.

My Mamaw lived to be 103 she was born in 1900 at the turn of the century. She often told stories of seeing panthers in the hills and hollers . Something following her to and from a place. Now there was a time my brother in-law and his uncles (my husband was not with them ) were camping and fishing in a remote area on a river bank way back in the holler they had settled down for the night when a loud ruckus started up 😮something was throwing things around and making loud noises. now these grown men were scared to death! After a short while things settled down needless to say not one of them seen anything. The next morning when their camp came to life they went down to the river and they saw huge footprints leading down to the river and up the other side and disappeared into the woods. Now they suspect that what they heard the night before and the prints were probably one of the cousins playing a prank . 😅. Thank you for sharing your wonderful videos 😊

When my family lived in Ohio in the woods, I used to see something with red eyes, large and hairy watching our house at night from the woods. Occasionally, we'd hear heavy footfalls outside walking around from one window to another. My father always kept his shotgun handy but wouldn't go outside at night. We finally moved away, and I'm thinking it was in large part because my mother kept getting so upset about it. My family in West Virginia talked about the legends of the Bigfoot, but never encountered one. However, my grandfather swears he used to see an occasional black panther in the woods as a child out hunting with his daddy.

We had pictures of a large black cat on Dayton Mountain last winter. I don't know if it lives there or just passing through? That was a good job putting this video together. We live in Dayton but my wife and I have a Bigfoot story. We were workin in the garden last spring when we heard a series of rapid wood knocks. At first we didn't pay much attention but they became closer. Before long they were very close and a few minutes after that a woodpecker flew over. Bigfoot had to have scared it. lol

Great video Donnie! I appreciated the history lesson and pictures from all over the world! I've aways believed in bigfoot but have never seen one. May have heard one or two for a few days though i didn't know it at the time! I got lost camping with my horse in the Cohutta Wilderness area for five days when I only intended to spend two! Bad thunderstorms forced me off trail to find shelter. Oops! Fortunately my friends in the Blue Ridge and Appalachian mountains had taught me well. Looking at run-off ditches and plants, I finally found a major creek which did eventually lead me to a road some twenty five miles from where I was supposed to be! To this day I've always questioned how I got that far away with just a horse, but she was a quick and sure-footed one. Thing is, while I never heard any yelling or screams, I did hear knocking starting on the third day. It continued in a pattern but not at regular timed intervals. I thought it was woodpeckers until I realised that it had stopped when I got to the road! I never went camping by myself there ever again! I don't know if it was a who or a what to this day but I've always wondered if something was trying to help me find the creek, then the road. Guess I'll never know!

Thank you, so interesting to hear. I'm glad there are still pockets of unexplored terrain in this country, and unexplained creatures, too. I believe these tales. I had the pleasure of walking about in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park about 30 years ago... Truly beautiful, and I was amazed at the little deer running around not far from us...
