I thoroughly enjoy your vids...best on KZfaq. My adult sons and I talk about our turkey hunts and what the latest was on HTP when we see each other and not necessarily in that order. I gotta admit, I am not a fan of this new format of basically cutting us off half way through the season (we go til May 31 here in the NE). I understand why you have started doing it, but you guys, Owens, Simpson all do it now. And by the time next Feb rolls around you are all putting new stuff up all at once and all of that material is late season hunts, right when we are getting ready to be in the bare woods at home. I ain't gonna stop watching (you are still the best) but I miss the content that used to take us all through Iowa, Missouri and then into the Dakotas, etc. while it was happening...just saying.

I agree with this. I understand it is a business and decisions are made for a reason but it just feels a little early. I'm in NC and we still have another week. Let's be honest, there will never be enough content from them, it is all good stuff... but holding back this early opens the door for substitutes. Like you mentioned, prior years were 3x the hunts. We never know what is going on in the THP world, let's hope nothing bad.... but irrelevant time of year hunts are not that much fun to watch, i.e. June hunts when we aren't going to see leaves in months. I usually end up watching older relevant EPs again during that time of year. They do a good job of explaining a lot in the episodes, but maybe time could be filled next spring with something like Dave did with his reworked videos.... take us through thought processes during the hunts, why they made certain decisions, why they called a certain way, etc.

I totallly agree I’d rather see more content during the season when I’m still hunting than preseason when I’m just starting to think about it again. This year we ended up seeing more hunts from last year than we will from this year and that just doesn’t make any sense. Save 5 or 6 good hunts from this year to put out before the tour starts and post of the rest. Also it might be a cool idea to take save videos from throughout the season rather than just using late season hunts.

Agreed. Best hunting content out there, but May is prime time turkey hunting for like half the country. Stopping now is like quitting the deer tour at the beginning of December. I feel like last year we got new turkey videos through May, but maybe I’m misremembering.

As much as I enjoy the turkey tour videos, and would love to continue seeing the new content, I completely understand saving the content for next year. From a business point of view, this definitely is a solid move. When everyone’s itching to get back in the turkey woods early next year, the new videos will be the fix we’ll all need.

@@countrymankdx200 I’m comparing it to previous tours that had 30-50 episodes. Last season they had a big tour plus a lot of content in February & March. So my ears are just fine maybe u can open ur eyes

A turkey flopping to the bottom of the Mnt... You were definitely in WV. Couldn't tell you how many times I've had that happen. Chase them all day up and down ridges, to kill one, to chase him to the bottom. And chances are, trucks still back on top, lol. Great video. Congrats.

This is a great video. It does seem a bit early to be the last video. But I’m shure you guys will have some great videos to get pumped up for turkey next season. I filled one of my pa tags Saturday. Big ol long beard. It felt good and it was a beautiful morning. It happened so quick I’m glad I have one more tag left.

That was really cool seeing the albino deer! Good eyes Ted! I have seen a couple piebald blacktail deer in Washington and a albino elk in Oregon years ago. Very rare sight! Awesome video guys.

Live hens have been coming into me every day this season without gobblers in tow. Didn’t prevent me from missing a tom on opener. I plan on hunting 18-24 days this season (retired) and I know I’ll get 2 mature toms but I sure enjoy the process! Turkeys , Shane Simpson, and the Hunting Public are my favourite parts of Spring.

Great hunt as always. I have never seen an albino or piebald deer, but I have seen an all black one here in MN. It's supposed to be even more rare I guess. Anytime you see something usual in the woods it makes the hunt even more special.

I agree with the others that said, "short season". That hen that walked right up to youall sure looked black. Cool to see the white deer. Lots of opinions (and laws) on whether they're huntable.

I watched a vid last night on a hunt for a Albino Turkey. awesome looking bird when all white. Yet I could not help but feel man I wish it was the hunting public boys that caught the albino turkey. No one shows hunting content like you guys. More focused on the adventure then the reward at the end, Keep up the content lads love it.

Glad to see that you guys got another true Eastern Mountain ⛰ Gobbler, here in the state of West “By God” Virginia. The northern panhandle has been rough in the northern panhandle of WV, I haven’t seen or heard a turkey 🦃 since the second day of season on the 18th. I even branched out and tried some public land. I definitely need to get with the local chapter of the NWTF here in Marshall or Ohio county and see what we can do to help the population of turkeys 🦃 around here. I didn’t even see a Jake either all season. Cool story about shooting the bird out of the air. I joked about bumping one and shooting him like a pheasant or duck 🦆

Love your videos and appreciate everything you guys do for the conservation of Wild Turkey. With that being said as a South Floridian is there anything you guys could do to help the study of probably the most pressured sub species of Turkey in the US. "Osceolas" get pounded in the South Zone of the State on out Public non quota areas and I can say not much is being done to ensure a huntable future for the birds. Any help would be much appreciated. What you guys did in Alabama was awesome. I know a few areas that would be perfect case studies for research. 3 large tracts that boarder each other. 1 high pressure, 1 low pressure and 1 no pressure that all have populations of true wild Osceolas.

Awsome guys...I hunt the cohutta wma..we call them ridges like that mule faces....straight up.an straight down other side.....great hunt...I was on edge of my seat.....
