@@PBKreviews what is the actual battery capacity, how many milliamp hours does it have. I never trusted Apple’s battery estimates, I only trust teardowns. So how big is the battery?

My daughter had the 2020 model. It's a good phone but the battery life just isn't good enough. If you can afford the 13 get it.

@@ihave7sacks thank you for the input. Get the 13 regular version then (vs the mini?). From the battery size of the mini, it didn’t look like too much of an upgrade on batt longevity. T-Mobile is offering a couple hundred bucks off with a burner phone. So the regular iPhone 13 is the one to get for her?

@@bluesfoxpix Yes, the 13 isn't even that much bigger than the SE. But you get more battery and more screen. Obviously it will cost you.

Hi! I've been repairing consumer electronics for eight years so I can shine some light on this:- 1. The glass can shatter if you don't use heat as the splashproof/dustproof adhesive seal is very strong, however using thin tools such as the iSesamo will make your life easier and less risky! You don't need to buy an expensive hotplate, a basic hairdryer will get the job done. 2. Yes you can; the home button is held in with four screws and a small amount of double-sided adhesive tape on the flex cable section. As long as you use heat and take it slow, you'll be able to remove the home button without damage. Cheers, and have a wonderful day :)

Thanks! I swapped them back and forth a few times to make sure there was no loose connection or any other issues, but same results. When I put the SE 2020 screen back on its original board, works perfectly fine, but when I put it on the SE 2022, it powers on and shows fine, but the touch works in the center better than anywhere else and the bottom corner I can't click on the i for the imei info and sometimes after many attempts it will register it. Basically the touch has issues. But there is no bad cable or connection, since I swapped the screen back n forth a few times to make sure. The SE 2022 screen works perfectly fine with its original board as well after the test, since I also considered the possibility of a short when I put the screen from the 2020 but no short or any issues like that, just compatibility issues. As for the screw, I think I showed all the screws that had to be removed, no? Or were you saying you thought I wasn't going to do it but then I did lol. Sometimes I may not go in the most intended order but will make sure to mention anything that needs to be done :)

You did an amazing job and better than most people we see on KZfaq! We will be planning to go into details working on devices and posting them here on YT when we are more familiarized with a better recording rig, or “studio” minded setup for good, clean videos from the get go. If we are gonna do it, gotta go big - MKBHD style. You Definitely earned a few subscribers here cos some of our employees are really into the TechTube side of things.

If done right, using metal or plastic tools for prying connectors is perfectly fine. Is it suggested for brand new techs? Probably not.

physical look wise it didn't look any different to me than that of the se 2, so not sure if internally with the lens there is a difference or if there are other hardware chips on the main board compared to the se 2.

@@PBKreviews iFixit with SE 2020 model swapped camera sensor between SE 2020 and iPhone 8 model - and it worked. Could you please try it as you did it already with the display ; ) Slow reading sensor without own integrated memory was the reason behind lack of Night Mode for iPhone SE 2020.

How much screen on time you get in single charger should I upgrade my iPhone 8 Plus to se3 my 8 plus give me 5 to 6 hour screen on time

Rounded edge design looks futuristic to me and is so much easier to hold, the square edges of the new form factor dig into your palms b. A15 lightning fast and smooth as butter c. New tougher and more resilient front and back gorilla glass is also clearer in my opinion d. Cameras are significantly improved through algorithms e. Speakers are clearer and louder f. battery life with 5g off gives me an extra two hours over my previous gen 2020 SE…approx 9 hours, and also, it recharges from 0-50 percent in just 30 mins The Starlight color is beautiful as it is more cream than white on the back, and has silver framed borders which are distinctive

A13 to A15 chip which is more powerful and efficient plus 10% increase in battery capacity so in total it should be 25% better
