I’m not mad about no including a charging brick but when my GF converted me from a long time android user to apple I was upset that the charger was usb C on one side instead of usb A. I have no usb C charger other than the one on my laptop so I had to make a trip to Walmart to buy a charger after spending a small fortune on the phone already smh.

I mean, in my case he has helped! When the rail cleanly broke off of my Joycon I knew how to open it safely and how to use the tools. Plus I managed to open a lot of our old phones, which is really interesting!

Hey Hugh, I recently found my old iPhone 6, that was lost for a year. It had not been charged once during the year. So, I replaced the battery and it hadn't powered on. I noticed that it wouldn't warm up during charging, and I checked to see if it was the screen and played with the mute but no vibration. I did notice some white stuff around the screen part, and it may have been definitely corrosion, but I'm sure it hasn't been in water as it has worked before, but I believe corrosion is the main suspect

My friend did do but she actually scammed me because once I fixed it her parents made me give it back and I was soooooo pissed so I just swapped the logic board with an iCloud locked one and told her I “forgot my Apple ID password” Long story short she’s not my friend anymore but I still have a working iPhone 7+ motherboard

iPhone 3GS and earlier never get iCloud lock since iOS 6 never introduced it. Its quite rare to see an iCloud locked iPhone 3GS tho

The iPhone 7 is a device that I personally wouldn’t take the time to repair. In the US we mainly got the A1660 model, and the “No Service” issue is so widespread. I don’t think I’d put the time into one. I’m glad to see you brought this one back it’s great content for your channel!
