Thank you for confirmation of my theory. made full LCD replacement and were afraid I made something wrong and broken camera

so how can we make it work? i went to 3rd party repair shop they changed my screen but camera is not working. i went to apple they told me they cant do anything what should i do?

I believe you may have accidentally connected the power in the middle of replacing the lcd everything has to be fully assembled before connecting power I did that twice and got the same issue

This has happened to me with my original camera.

just happened on my 2022 m2 chip a2338 i replaced the lcd panel (just the glass ) on the original lcd and it worked but the backlight paper slightly wrinkled because of the heat gun i used to heat the frame and use a needle nose plier to staighten a corner dent so i updated the os to sonoma and replaced the full screen assembly with an oem screen and the camera instantly stopped working very frustrated because no one has a way to fix this problem yet
