Charging my iPhone 12 Mini with the battery pack on while watching your video and no over heating so far. Been using it for 4 days now it comes in handy when I don’t wanna sit idle while waiting for my phone to charge. Magnet is stronger on the Mini for some odd reason then the 12 Pro it comes off easily.

Honestly my takeaway is the price is a burner on this but I feel that it's definitely useful tech.

You just SAVED my life with the Nomad info! The only reason I was hesitant to buy the MagSafe battery pack is because of the color! I felt it would get dirty too quick and end up looking horrible! I just ordered the MagSafe battery pack and the leather Nomad cover for it! Thank you as ALWAYS!😊 Also when I ordered, they asked how did you hear about us, I chose KZfaq. This Battery isn’t made or designed to charge your battery fast or top up from 0%. This battery pack is designed to slap on at 100% and it keeps your battery at a healthy level all day or most of it. It will pull power from the battery pack before taking from your phone battery this will give your phone battery more life.

Just received mine , so far it’s performing well. Should serve its purpose; battery power in a pinch

I was waiting for your review! I was switching between your and Marques' page...lol! Apple is my ish list atm. I ordered the new iMac in yellow and the corresponding keyboard turned out to be a lemon. After troubleshooting with Apple support, they said they were going to send me a new keyboard. When I got said keyboard, they sent me a silver one that had foreign characters on it. I was so confused. I called Apple support again and explained the situation and they said I have to FedEx the replacement keyboard and made an appointment for me at the Genius Bar to gett my keyboard. When I arrived at the Apple store, they said they had only ONE keyboard in stock. I would've been so tight if they were out of stock. While I was waiting for my appointment, I took a look at the battery packs they had on display. Personally, I don't think it's worth it, not at that price point. You're better off buying a phone case with a battery pack attached.

Considering it’s integration with your phone and the fact that it can 15w fast charge it is a yes for me.

This thing is just apple solving another problem that they created themselves. Just make a slightly thicker phone with more space for a bigger battery, instead of a sub par yet 3x more expensive external battery.

I wouldn’t recommend it because there are cheaper options out there. For me personally the case with battery built in it is better because it provides extra protection if I were to drop it and it also has a LED display on the back to inform me of charge status. For the price of the Apple charger I can buy 4 of them.

I have this battery pack, as well as the mophie battery pack. the mophie charged my phone from 33% to 100%. its thinner its more of a hard cloth texture and it comes in black. has 4 LED lights and a power on button. only downside I would say it doesn't have a strong magnetic grasp like the Apple battery pack does.

Or Apple should a little display to check the battery life left

I love the battery pack.. of course all depends on battery usage. I only use Pro Max models.. i have the 14PM... . 2 scenarios: one heavy usage: 9am 100% iphone 100% battery pack: doing alot of phone calls, screen recordings, sending text messages, work, email, responding to social media messages, then gym listening to music etc... by 2pm battery pack died and phone was 90% so a good 5hrs extra of battery life: by end of day 11pm or so was around 15% battery and then charged my phone that day like around 12hrs of active screen time somewhat light usage disconnected my phone at 3:30am 100% battery and slapped on the apple battery pack aslo at 100% for this one the battery pack died until 5:30pm (NOT EXAGGERATING) so it was around 14hrs but this time i only had like 5hrs 40min of active screen time; so a lighter use. but still was using my phone a bit for phone calls, messages, screen recordings etc. and same thing phone was at 90% after it died. so again, all depends on use case scenarios, but I feel if you use it with iphone at 100% it comes in super clutch . and it's worth it if you use it correctly

There's just so many better and much cheaper options out there. I like Apple products but this one is a dud.

I work in a warehouse everyday and sometimes I need my phone for lunch break and my phone is at 45% everytime, so that’s why I need this kind of battery pack like this MagSafe battery pack and thx Apple for that 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

To me $100 for a device that won't even get you another full battery.... doesn't sound very worth it, even though im a die hard apple fan. If you know or review comparable devices that are "Apple product" safe, it'd be awesome to see.

It’s not meant to top your iPhone off. It’s meant to be used 100% charged with a 100% charged iPhone and use iPhone until MagSafe dies then you’ll be left with 90% iPhone battery. Today slapped a 100% charged MagSafe to 100% charged iPhone 15 pro and was using iPhone very very heavy streaming. In 5 hours the MagSafe died and I had 91% iPhone battery.

I actually really like mine. I don’t like a big white brick coming out of my phone though. So I don’t attach it unless I really really need to. I keep the battery pack on the back pocket until I need it.

its sad that to charge the battery I am forced to to bring a lightning cable to my trips. I was hoping the battery could be charged wirelessly (for example using the magsafe duo charger)

Battery pack is mediocre, needs more storage smh 🤦🏽‍♂️ I have a third party version that has bigger battery. And I have 5 led’s on mine as well. And I have a turn on and off button. And I had mine since March.

The numbers of the battery dont matter, how many times should everyone specify it. Look at the amps, it can charge a 12 mini to 100% without problems despise being much smaller in battery size.

I was just about to Amazon one today until I read some of the comments this charger doesn’t fully charge your battery is that right enough? I have a generic power bank it takes 4 usb and 1 usb-c think I’ll just stick with that done fine so far.

I was lucky to get this park for only 75 bucks which I feel is more of where it should be priced at. Maybe lower but still better than that 99$ price tag

I have one I like it, its just like a morphie case on your phone.... I use at night a lot of the time cause my son uses my wired charger all the time.... I was going to take it back after reading reviews but I like it

I think the Apple battery pack would be good to have for times my family goes to Disneyland and this would keep our phone with a working charge due to heavy phone use with Disney’s app and taking photos/videos. But, I would like to see your review of an actual portable charger that would be a good alternative to Apple’s design.

It is nice that it can charge the charger too while connected to the phone but at that price to get a little charge I’d rather go with anker or carry a regular battery pack

Quick question for you, I have the 12 PM, If I heard you right it takes 2 hrs to charge the Mag and the phone? How long does it take to charge the Mag itself from being dead to fully charged! I like the idea of that on the go charging like that, but that is almost to rich for my blood! To only get a half or 3rd of a charge! I like you explanations in your videos! Really good video. I have been watching for a lil minute and will put my kid on to your videos!

They should have put a magnet on the other side as well. That way you can mount it in your car and just use it as a car charger then take it with you if you need

the only solution is to just use your phone less, then you won't have to worry about a low battery

I don't think I am going to buy this battery pack. I saw a brand Spigen is coming out with a smaller all-black battery pack. I hope it comes out at a reasonable price. But, this is a great review and nice video quality with useful recommendations to apple to improve the product.

At this point i learn to be excited to whatever came from apple esp from their accessories department because other accessories companies will surely perfecting those things

This is designed to be a portable energy source to get to the next charge. On a professional and personal level, it has saved me multiple times. There is (nothing) that I don’t like about it, including the color.

Much improved now that it supports faster 15w wireless charging (when not connected to the wall) / a bit overpriced, but there is also the question of trust… would like it to be chargeable with a magsafe or generic wireless charger… .

I feel like a lot of these accessories were made for the iPhone mini specifically

Info: IF you can hold it in position by any way, you can charge an iPhone 8, an 11, 11 Pro, whichever- just hold it tight by any means.

Slow charge, no maximum charge, slippage, $99 uhm it’s a No for me. In the past I’ve used the actual case Battery pack and I loved it.

But the Battery Pack is around 3000mAh because it’s 1460mAh at 7.2V
