Find my and this wallet having rfid built into it are the only 2 reasons i returned a 3rd party magsafe wallet, and bought the apple one instead. Handy features to have honestly.

The fact it had rfid was the reason I didn’t get it. The threat of scanning cards is exceptionally low but the odds of having tap to pay credit cards or a tap card for entering a workplace, hotel, gym etc is very high and with this wallet you have to take the card out every time. Without rfid you could tap the wallet, even attached to the phone and get the ability to pay, enter a door etc.

Did you try it with a hotel key card, to check if that type of card still functions after being snapped to an iPhone?

I have one and love it! You should mention there are 2 generations of this wallet, the earlier generation does not have the find my built in.

get an anker one, it’s the exact same thing but it’s cheaper, has a bigger battery, and had a built in kickstand

Maybe I’m just dumb, lol but when I put my wallet in my iPhone, nothing happens…is the iPhone supposed to detect the wallet automatically? 😮🙈

I got the wallet today and is not giving me the option to find my wallet 🤦🏻♀️I have a 12 pro iPhone w a leather magnetic 🧲 case and I don’t know 🤷🏻♀️ can somebody help me ?

Hi denis,that’s because you have the 1st generation,he doesn’t mentioned it but there are two generation of magsafe wallet. Aesthetically they are identical,the only difference is that the 2nd generation have the find my option inside,the 1st gen not. Can you return your purchase back?
