Apple to Launch New iPad Pro & iPad Air Models in May

Apple will introduce new iPad Pro and iPad Air models in early May, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. Gurman previously suggested the new iPads would come out in March, and then April, but the timeline has been pushed back once again.

But I don’t want to upgrade until the 11inch gets OLDD or mini/micro led cause the backlight glare is so noticeable and annoying. If you don’t mind me asking, what do you use your iPad for? 2tb is crazy, that’s more storage than my Mac

There is rumours of everything shell wise is complete and just awaiting new firm ware for the Pro as it as much as I hear has as much power as a Mac book pro and is set to raise the tablet benchmarks by a huge amount.... I'm saving up hard now as I love these Pro machines and my M1 Pro never let's me down

I always feel like apple does the ipad wrong. I think we can get a cheaper ipad but apple always adds or leaves out certain specs. Maybe the ipad air with m2 will be $500 or less.

Hoping for something new, perhaps finally having an iPad Pro with macOS. Microsoft tried to merge desktop and tablet, but I believe that Apples has the right stuff. If the rumors of what they have been working on is true. If they release this then I I'm considering buying a new iPad Pro to replace my M1 Macbook Pro.

I know iPad 11 gonna have iPad 10 design but i wish Apple don't abandon iPad 9 design and created new 2024 iPad SE or something like that and use the iPad 9 or iPad Air 3 design with a new chip like A15 or upper than that + 4,6 or 8 gb ram, I will definitely buy it how much it cost. I really love the old iPad design, it's look beyond better than Air 4,5 and Pro.

So, moron that I am, I believed the March release date leaks. Since my birthday is in March I was gifted the funds to purchase a new one. (I have a very good wife). I sold my M1 iPad Pro 11 on a third party site, hoping to beat the post-release value reduction. I got a bit more than Apple was offering for Trade-in. Now iPadless, the delays hit-one after another after another. Makes me wonder if these delays forebode problems with the new devices. What to do, what to do.

I bought the last one pro $1300. My review: iPad is a handicapped MS Surface/McBook, so do not lose your money. iPads are only expensive toys.

Apple is generating a lot of ill will by continuing to push this release out further and further. If there IS a legitimate reason to delay them until April, they should go ahead and announce them (and pricing) and start taking pre-orders for April delivery. I need a 12.9” screen, but don’t necessarily need the high-end features of the Pro, so was (was) excited about the 12.9” air. Now I’m just disgusted. At this point I may just punt and buy a used/refurbed current or previous gen 12.9” Pro instead of continuing to wait. I wish you guys (and all the other online media for that matter) would stop quoting Gurman’s “predictions”. He has already been completely wrong about this release at least twice - and obviously doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

If Apple improves the OS, especially the finder and adds a SD card slot they are heading in the right direction. Not interested in a KB or trackpad (just the pencil) as I have a MacBook Pro. The iPad will be a primary ideas device as it doesn't support full-blown content creation software that's available to desktop operating systems. Until the iPad Pro 13"+ has macOS on it, it's just a half way house IMO.
