Great video Jordan! Would love to know your take on Whoop strap alternatives. The whoop seems great but it’s so expensive all in.

@@TheTechRak Just thinking about it. I wear a normal watch all the time, so a strap to track recovery etc def appeals to me.

@@scottharris5407 totally agree. That’s the one miss of the Apple Watch. It doesn’t let you know if you should take a rest day or not. That would be epic. Scott, let me do some homework and let you know. Stay tuned via a subscribe!

Hey Scott - have you checked out the Oura ring? Mainly focused on sleep though. I took a look at competitors and I still feel like the whoop is the go-to, especially for recovery analytics. I think eventually Apple's Watches will track recovery and give recommendations based on your body. Until that time comes, I would recommend the whoop.

I recommend the GPS for many people its rare that many people dont have there phones most people always bring there phones everywhere

Can you receive call and texts on the GPS version if your iPhone is not near you?

Great question. Short answer is no. You cannot receive those notifications unless you're on the same wifi or with phone near and connected via Bluetooth

The SE1 is a big step down compared to this one. If cost is a concern, try to see if you can get a used Series 5, 6 or 7. Otherwise, I would stay away from SE1 and get the 2 instead (if it's in your budget).

Tough to say - but I would like to assume that it will have the always on display with the same design. The Series watches will incorporate a newer design with more features.
