I currently have the fold 3 and agree with you. Unfortunately I had to get the phone replaced 3 times in the last year due to the inner screen protector bubbling up. So I'm going to check out the Iphone 15 for a year or two. Give Samsung some time to iron some of the quirks. But even with that, I KNOW I'm going to miss it. Lol

The iPhone flip concept is a nice glimpse of what could be possible with a real iPhone flip which is a sellable concept. The glasses appears to be a glasses that is comfortable and enjoyable to be used. And the glasses do look very lightweight to wear, it should be quite comfortable to wear for long periods. 😎💯💪🏾👍🏾

Apple should adapt this concept like they have for Samsungs and make iPhone 16 that way. Why else would anyone buy iPhone otherwise. I have 13 Pro 1TB and I didn';t upgrade because there wasn't much difference besides the titanium, USB C that is still not fast charger tops 20WATTS and lightweight. Great point. I upgraded previously from 11 pro because the cameras were bigger and phone looked bolder and square not round. big changes.

No, they shouldn't. I'm telling you right now, the person with the folding phone is going to have their screen break or wear out much faster than someone with a screen that doesn't bend. Folding phones can't use a screen protector, so they get scratched and worn out. The folding screens are plastic, not glass, so they wear out extremely fast, unlike glass which has extremely low friction. The people who bought the first folding phones, are already regretting it because they wasted their money. The people who bought the next generation of them, are about to regret it.

the concept is not ready yet i know a phone repair guy and he told me the fold will crack over time he has had to change a lot of samsung fold screens and as soon as its fix its up for sell and people go back to a normal apple phone

The idea is cool but I believe Apple doesn’t believe the technology is good enough to make their own version of a flip/folding phone and I’m also guessing that a cease and desist order will be coming to that company and a potential lawsuit only because Apple will be really defensive over being able to make the iflip or ifold phones first and not some other company

Apple lured me in from a life long android addiction a few years back. Just pre ordered my 1tb 15 pro max. Fuckers got me hooked. I’m a nerd so naturally prefer the open source of android. All Apple is waiting for is Samsung/LG Display perfect the Display Crease, and then they will buy it from them and call it "INNOVATION". edit: what I have observed is that Apple is most preferred by Women (cause it is more of status symbol just like fashion brands like Prada, Gucci, etc) and now the FLIP is taking it's place, as it looks cool as well as fits perfectly in women purses which are usually very small. Also cause women tend to be less tech savy, cause android is used by more techy people. iPhones are smartphones for dumb (technologically) people. my cousin was gonna get her first FLAGSHIP phone IP14PM but switched and got Z FLIP instead. So if Apple makes a flip it will SELL LIKE HOT CAKES. and this has happened a lot of times, I have seen Women get Apple first and then make their other family members to get Apple too. and Apple knows this target audience, fashion brands and their prices look ridiculous and yet they sell, this is similar case, and this Apple has stopped innovating iPhones, as they know, even if they launch the same phone with different color, there will be people buying it.

Your observations are wrong. I’ve used and own both platforms, iPhone has been my daily for most of the past couple years. It has nothing to do with status, I happen to trust iPhone security better than android. I also much prefer full face unlock for all apps (iPhone) vs fingerprint or pin for android. Also easy backup recovery if something does happen to it (yes I know android can do that to some extent too). I have no interest in the current style of full screen flip phones, too bulky & not rugged enough. I’d love to know what all those “techy” people are doing with their android phones that is so special, I’m guessing taking selfies, texting, surfing social media & making phone calls. Oh and probably getting lost following google maps on a closed road😊…just like the iPhone users are doing.
