Nothing of value was lost. Imagine demanding help after shouting at the police about not needing them.

'No different to the Grand National, accidents happen'... Mmm... Pretty sure the Grand National is on grass, the horses have saddles and styrups, the jockeys are highly trained horse riders and are wearing protective vests and hard hats...... So actually nothing like the Grand National at all.

I'm not a fan of the grand national as I prefer flat racing due to it being safer for the horse however, they treat their horses a damn sight better than these guys do. Racing horses have a strict exercise plan, diet and correctly fitted tack ensuring they are fit for the discipline, these horses literally just have idiots who can't ride for shit (many of them way too heavy for the horse 0:54 being the perfect example) jumping on their backs with ill-fitting tack or no tack at all for that matter rushing down a concrete path (which is absolutely terrible for their legs) and nor do a lot of the horses have the correct muscles for supporting such a hard load. So, I agree with you. Why anyone would compare this to the grand national is beyond me.

You police need to arrest these people for cruelty to the horses. Since when do you sit on a horse who is under 2 years old? It’s the same as sitting on a human who is under 2. The bones haven’t properly fused together and you are ruining the young horses for life you cruel evil people. Shut down Appleby fair for good. Police won’t do anything tho cos they’re a waste of space.

Sitting on under 4’s is just plain cruel. The bones haven’t finished growing and are still very soft. It’s like sitting on a human child under 4.
