I think Smokey said something along the lines of. “He’d be standing in front of the greatest dancers in the world, classically trained people who worked their entire life dedicated their entire life to dance. And he would outdance them all.” All of these videos feature incredible dancers, but your eye never is on them, he’s so far beyond it’s wild.

It's been on KZfaq for many years as Making of Moonwalker from the BBC. I have it on vhs too. It's longer than this clip. It usually has a voice over over it by a BBC guy. This version i think might be from the japanese laserdisc.

They used an earlier version of Smooth Criminal. The song was faster and slightly higher pitched, the instruments were different, and there were extra/different vocals. You can really hear these differences at 0:15, 2:40 and 3:54. At 4:06, the hi-hats are noticeably more frequent.

Incredible even the recording itself, big big experience. I think the whole process was exciting as well. It was told Smooth Criminal almost did not make it to get onto the Bad album. I don't understand this. His vocal range is alone incredibly amazing, his singing gives a kick like adrenaline. The dance and the short film all is so fine and so meaningful. Classy, hot, very artistic and lovely.

I love the behind the scenes of smooth criminal or Chicago nights but I just wish this was an actual movie I would love to see Michael play the hero it would be awesome if did like movie around this time like dick Tracy and have songs like heartbreak hotel ,smooth criminal, al capone, throwing your life away .....kind of like a gangster movie
