thank you! this was so helpful, everything works properly, except for some reason i can't actually see the images displayed on my model when I'm in the scene setup, it only appears on the model when i go back to after effects. I can still work like this but it definitely would be easier if they were showing in the scene setup, any ideas on why this would be? Thanks again :)

Hi...don't know the actual reason but it might be of environment map used in Element I guess... or else try to change material to default and apply image and check once...Thank you... appreciate your valuable support...

@@Baluprime i , and I am sure many others also appreciate you showing us this process man. Thank you. I have done this many times, but then I forget how to do it. SOmetimes AE can so easy , other times you can spend hours doing things that you know you have done before yet can not remember how you did it despite having the comp and all your own work on your screen. It drives me nuts man ! SO yes thank you as needed fast answers and you gave that very well. good job my man. you hsould have more views and commnts as this was from looking on youtube, bar far the best video on ths subject. kudos and smiles :)

When I select Custom Layer 1 in Diffuse (in Textures in Scene Setup) following all of the steps, it doesn't show my original texture in the preview window and when I hit apply, nothing changes. I'm using a .png and followed all of the steps exactly as you did in the tutorial. Are there other settings that must be in place for this to work? Reply

Hi...i think the resolution of png might be less compared to AE composition...if AE composition is 1080p then the image resolution also should be 1080p...use Photoshop or any image editing software to export the image for desired resolution and check once again...it will work...i forgot to mention this in the tutorial...sorry...

i need help , i follow the tutorial alot of times but still doesnt work . when i enter element 3d and choose texture . nothing happens the image doesnt show ? i have tried alot of photos but none works

Hi...the texture size should be same as that of Element 3d layer size....for example if Element 3D layer size is FHD then the texture image should have FHD resolution which is 1920 * 1080...

Hi... Reduce the UV repeat value from texture panel in Element 3d (see from timestamp 05:01)...

@@khatibmotion add texture map into custom texture in Element 3d Effects and control section... It will be under custom text and mask... Orelse we can directly select the file from location from where ever it is saved in PC...

Hi...that might be because of logo resolution and also depends on the composition resolution in AE...for example if AE composition is FHD (1920 * 1080), place the logo in Photoshop with the same resolution and export it from Photoshop as png...After that apply it in Element...it will appear...hope it is useful... appreciate your valuable support...Thank you...

@@Baluprime I have fixed it now, I was doing everything correct, but I forgot to Update my 3D Element file. It was an old Video Copilot 3D Element file. It is working properly now! Thank You Jesus!
