Iyan talaga ang dapat, bayad agad ng 5k kapag nahuli. Kung walang 5k impound agad ang sasakyan. Sa sistema ngayon kahit isang milyon pa ang multa at tiket lang ang ibibigay marami pa rin ang magiging pasaway. Pero kapag siningil mo agad ng 5k yan at kung walang pambayad impound agad titino na ang mga yan.

This is Governments fault as well. Providing penalties that borders on " reasonable " and " not anti poor " to prevent repercussion on their possible candidacy or re election, they and the riding public who plays fair are being taken advantaged! Why not immediate impound of vehicles and/ or 50,000 pesos immediate penalty? " Unreasonable "? Penalties are outcomes of a choice, violators want to be penalized - they go to the busway and if they don't want, they avoid it like a plague. Simple.

Do not blame someone. Kung sino may mali, sya ang mali. Hindi ang gobyerno, systema, leaders, etc. Simple lang. Sumunod sa batas. Bahala sila lung tama o mali ang ginagawa nila basta importante, tama ang ginagawa natin.

@@jonathan19900 I fully understand your statement, which is precisely the reason why I found contradictions. My response points out the simplest and most obvious explanation to my original comment. Mabuti pa siguro tagalugin ko na😁 " Kasama ang gobyerno ( lahat ng administrasyun at ang current, baka kse your response has a hint of not wanting to focus blame on your preferred administration ) " sa problema, hindi lang ang mismong violators. Of course, in an ideal setting violators should only be the ones to blame to which we don't have at the moment. You cannot discount the fact that violators should be dealt with their " own language ". Theirs is a cat and mouse game, you and I, the rest of the filipinos and the Gov't knows this. Why not put a lion ( not a crocodile...madami na sa daan ) instead of a cat? And who can put a " lion " ( equates to harsher law or punishment ) - Government. Right now, they substituted the cat with a dog. Wag lang di masabi umaksyon sort of band aid solution. So there you go, violators and gumagawa, may kakayahan mag amend ng batas/ nagpapatupad ng batas ( who forms the Gov't portion ) all are to blame.

@@reynaldoflores4522 This is normally done only when lane-splitting to avoid or at least minimize the risk of hitting the cars side mirrors; the bike in question is wider than the common scooters anyway. Riders normally put it back to its original position once they're through the jam.

Hey! I'm a commuter of EDSA bus carousel and I wanted to raise some concerns worth noting (other than these riders) Some buses stack up in stations, like they just wait for long minutes. It causes the station to be filled with smoke and can affect passengers schedules. A good example is North Ave and Monumento, esp during rush hour. Some ambulances also tend to get stuck in the bus lane.

Pasaway kayo, tapos pag nahuli kayo pa yung galit. Mga pinoy nga naman. Para sa akin lang ha, once na mahuli kayo sa bus lane dapat suspension para madala. Di na nila ginalang yung batas jan. 5k na nga ang multa sa first offense tapos parang minamaliit lang nila.

Goodness. As soon as they are apprehended they should immediately comply to the instructions to move towards the lay-by. Any hesitation to comply should be an immediate ground for upgrade of violation. From the videos I've seen recently from Gadget Addict, a handful of these violators tend to try to speed away or even stall once apprehended. Too stubborn.

I visited Seoul few days ago. I saw their bus lanes. They have barriers except in intersections. Their barriers are effective.

Most of the bus lane is protected by barriers. Unfortunately the barriers had to be removed from the flyovers and tunnels for safety reasons. They tried plastic bollards but I'm sure you've seen the viral videos of people purposefully driving over that type of bollard. They also tried metal bollards but those kept getting knocked down too. Sometimes a little self-discipline is a must. There are overhead signs, road-level signs, lane markings and constant news coverage.

Make it 20k for first offence plus revoke licence for 1 year. Impound and revoke licence for 5 years 2nd offense and 5 yeas in jail 3rd offense. Then see how many use the bus lane...

Dapat diretso tow na agad yung mga sasakyan. Wala ng 1st or 2nd offense, diretso TOW ng sasakyan. Ewan ko lang kung di matakot yung mga yan. Yung current penalty kasi, pwede nilang hindi bayaran pero wag lang sila papahuli siyempre. Kung wala silang sasakyan, mas malaking abala sa kanila yun at imposibleng di nila tubusin.

PhP 20,000 fine for first incident. Failure to pay will be revocation of drivers license and will be flagged in NBI as hit. Ewan ko na lang kung di pa maubos yan mga yan.

DO NOT GIVE THEM A TICKET. HAVE TRUCKS THERE AND IMPOUND THEIR VEHICLES FOR A MONTH for the first offense. 3 months for the 2nd offense. A YEAR for the 3rd offense.
