shouldn't you give thiamine BEFORE dextrose JIC they are chronic alcoholics and are thiamine depleted?

if you give dextrose before thiamine you risk exacerbating Wernicke's encephalopathy

Id think you should check a BGL before blindly giving dextrose, but then again not everyone in EMS is as thorough as they should be.
