Scripture: John 11: 1-6, 11-45
Summary: Why does God allow bad things to happen? How do we cope when God operates in ways that we don't understand? It is our belief, not our understanding that will pull us through such difficult times. We must believe in 1) God's presence and His promise, 2) Jesus' powerful perspective, and 3) God's plan and His path. Sometimes we have to go through pain to get to glory, but God will guide us the entire way.

I was born disabled and went through hell until I was 15 (being in and out of hospitals--and at times far away from home). I heard about how God loved me, but wondered where he was when I went through emotional/mental/verbal abuse in the hospital. I am a believer in Messiah, but bear the scars emotionally due to my experiences with the hospital. Thank you for this message.

I don't know you but I feel you deeply! I was abused by a lot of people most of my life! I was bullied by white people because I was the only Black Student. I was bullied by Black people because I was considered an uncle Tom because my parents worked hard to have something. I've lost count of how many times I was beaten up! I'm now 66 years old and I wondered where was GOD. Many times I have wanted to go back and get revenge on them ALL! Even now but I'm trusting in our GOD to help me put it all behind me. I refused to go to jail for people who never cared about me! GOD PLEASE HELP ME!! Depend and lean on HIM!

I just lost my mom...I really needed this! Thank you for posting My sister and i have not lost our faith, but, it is hard right now. I'm holding on to Romans 8:28, Proverbs 3:5 &6, and all of the Psalms. God will always be great, but, we went through something in the hospital that made us wonder why God let it happen like that. We still trust Him!

I don't like to use the word hate but I hate So called Christians, who live life pretending, yet can turn a blind eye to the plight of others, God asks us to be obedient not perfect, because perfection comes only when the lord returns. We are sinful creatures and we sin in words thought and deed. We all have these moments of despair, doubt, fear,and unbelief.
