I appreciate this message on so many levels! Even though God has come through for me personally more times than I could count, and He provides example after example in scripture and in the lives of people I know, it's still so good be be reminded that 'this' season is another opportunity to 'Trust God'. I am also so grateful to have the Christian cliches challenged! Oh yes, one of them sent me on a personal search of the scriptures as I'd heard it all my life; only to enlightened to the truth that 'The race is not given to the swift or to the strong but to those who endure to the end' IS NOT IN SCRIPTURE! Possibly it's a blend of Ecc 9:11 and Mat 24:13 but bottom line: it's not in the Bible! Thank you for that correction and such a powerful word!
