Thanks, Corey. Yes, I enjoyed seeing Hepburn and Grant again. You could tell that she was the right one for Grant’s character.

Nice pickups! Those Criterions are all terrific editions. I’ll plan to pick up The Iron Claw at some point. Still deciding if I want to get the True Lies 4K.

Thanks, James. Yes, I’m happy with all 3 Criterions. The Iron Claw is dark, but I enjoyed it in the theater and it’s still growing on me. Yes, the True Lies transfer is polarizing, but I’ve heard better things about it than the Aliens 4K. Some people like film grain while others hate it and James Cameron must be in the latter camp.

i was so excited to see King Kong on big screen for first time in 2020 but it was weekend they told us we should stay home due to covid. so i missed my chance. hope someday. im surprised you’ve never seen that. i would think anyone into movies wouldve seen that one. they used to play it in NYC on TV when i was a kid every thanksgiving. It was a tradition. I cant stand the Peter Jackson one. The 70s one if my favorite. Iron Claw was very disappointing. Knew nothing about that story but didnt enjoy the movie at all. agree with ya bout Bill & Ted 3. Wasnt too good. I think Keanu was the biggest prob with that. He couldnt tap into that goofiness from his youth at all. cool stuff dude. glad ya feeling better.

Yes, I’m glad that I finally checked King Kong out from the library and finally discovered what everyone already knew, that it’s an iconic movie. I still like the Peter Jackson version, even though it’s too long and I could understand if Jack Black might turn people off. I can certainly understand that The Iron Claw could be polarizing. Yes, Keanu was the problem and part 3 never grew on me and I got rid of it.
