Our people are our most valuable asset. And it is important to look after them, providing good depot facilities and continual upskilling.
We have invested in a new depot in South Wales that has now become the home to 200 of our colleagues that look after our railway. Fully up-to-date, and diverse, welfare facilities. Modern stores, training and development facilities on site. Occupational health and wellness facilities and more.
I saw this site right at the start, so it was a real privilege to open this depot and provide a quick virtual tour for everyone.
We will continue to provide skilled and long term careers along this important section of railway.
