Babydoll dresses are waist killers. I look like a brick when I wear them hahaha. I am also tall. Maybe its a longer torso problem. But I loved everything on you!

As someone trapped at 5'2" I absolutely feel the urghs for the elastic empire waists- my ribcage is too wide at the top and my torso too short to not IMMEDIATELY look pregnant the whole time. Everything as always looks adorable on you, and the excitement you have for fun stuffs is enjoyable and makes me smile :)

OMG, same. I feel your pain. I cannot count the number of times someone has asked me if I was pregnant, lol. Elastic empire waists would also help those of us that are less endowed in the bust.

I think a corset would look great with the dress that you’re having issues with the waist band. Maybe not a full corset, but a corset-like belt.

@Poison Ivy Thank you for your kind comment. I have since gone with a more demure color to give my hair a break lol. That's unfortunate that they won't let you do what you want with your hair. That does not change your work ethic as an employee. :( I used to work for a hair salon that wouldn't allow us to have unnatural colors. It was absurd. 🖤

I love your Killstar hauls. As someone that is short and plus sized (I'm a 4X in their clothes but a 1X from every other brand on the planet, go figure), I really appreciate how well you describe the fabrics, whether something is stretchy, runs big/small, has room in the upper arms, etc. Their website doesn't really give much information and I wish to hell that they would give bust/waist/hip measurements on every garment on the site!

So beautiful as always. I may not wear this type of clothing but you my dear look amazing in it. The black and red sweater gave me a Freddy Kruger vibe, which is cool because I love the Nightmare On Elm Street movies. The dress with the awkward waist seems like they were trying for the Empire waist but were not successful. Glad to see your lovely face, remain safe and sound. When I first saw the forgive me father dress, I wasn’t crazy about the white lace with the plain cotton dress. Although, you’ve got me loving it just for the lace now, ha ha. It’ll come in, now worries! It took them quite a while to ship my own stuff, but they arrived safely. I wouldn’t exchange anything though, because the process will take even longer. 😵

I am still waiting on my other order from the13th. I kind of bitched and moaned about them switching from 10 days to 15 days and they sent my order from the 10th. I got it today. So I am sedated for now.

That bunching thing happens to me too and I'm only around 5ft 10ish! 😭 I also hate when I have to constantly pull down my dresses as they slowly creep up at the bum/hip area especially when the waist is too high lol Great video Kayla! 🥰

You're not alone with the high waist thing! I'm quite an average height (5'5) and the waist of the Killstar dresses I own is still a good inch too high on me, which is quite unflattering (even though they're not even bunched up like the one you showed) so I always wear a belt with them

I have the in to abyss dress. Absolutely in love with it. Super perfect for summer time and super light. I have the same issue as yourself, I wore it to Tesco and had to wear a shirt underneath as it was very busty. Didn't want the staff to get an eye full 😂

Yes that velvet print is gorgeous! I want the jumper tunic and they do it in plus but I can't decide which colour to get. If they do it in the wonka purple then I would be immediately ordering it. You look so cute in the onesie! Speaking of new drops, they are now doing plates and bowls and they are gorgeous... I may end up getting one or two just for myself, would love a full service but can't afford to do that lol.

I just got s Killstar haul today. Woohoo! I got two skirts from the new collection and that Cthulhu print sundress too. I have that dress with the white collar/cuffs. It’s a beautiful dress. I can’t get the collar to lay right which means I have to iron it. I haven’t ironed since the 80’s. Speaking of weird busts, I got this sleeveless high/low dress from a couple drops ago. I’m still trying to figure out where the bust should fall. Lol. I have to go check it on the model. Nice haul! I do love their clothes.

I just purchased that black and red knitted jumper from Killstar and now even more excited to receive it because it looks so comfy. Though Summer is just beginning ..gives me something to look forward to for the cooler months. I’m always looking for comfort lol and some clothing ..while beautiful is just not comfortable. restyle used to have those really cute elastic waist belts with kind of an antique frame on them with a picture in it. they dont have a lot of different ones anymore on their website but it shouldnt be too hard to find one secondhand. I think those will look great with the dress with the high waist especially since the picture will cover up a bit more on the front

The dress with the high waist could work with a small underbust corset. I don't think I've ever seen you wear a corset before, but it could work well!

I have new summery stuff I have yet to wear. Pretty much stuck here and wearing old clothes to work on house and yard. Jammies for some days are appealing to me. The onsie would be tempting if 2 pieces. Bathroom runs. Take a shower then back in pajamas on lousy days I take a break. Open chest can be solved with just a black shirt underneath.

Not sure if you're into this look but just a suggestion: a wide corset type belt would look great with the dress. I feel like it would keep the fabric from bunching above and it would give you some nice waist definition. There's some really high quality ones on amazon for quite cheap

Nope. What they’ve done is shitty, I don’t need a whole video to express that, and they won’t be getting any free publicity from me. Seems like to them any publicity is good publicity. I watched them for a while to see if they would own up to their shit and apologise, and it doesn’t look like it’s ever going to happen, so fuck them.
