Hi friends!
It's time to look back at the past month and talk about my luxury beauty favourites. For the month of April I had a lot of makeup items that stood out. to me and sadly I also had one item that was a huge flop. Please share our experience with me if have tried the new Dior Glow Star Filter.

it’s possible!! i started using a sample along with some new skincare but the latter is pretty natural ingredients so i can see the skin filter being the culprit! i’m glad you mentioned it as well bc i was confused as to why my skin was also breaking out in random spots. i’ll update this post if it ends up being the skincare but you might be onto something!

No brand can replace my Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter ✨😍 I bought the Dior version & it did not give me the same effect. It also did not mix well with my foundation. I mix the CT one with a CT foundation & I have a flawless finish. I returned it & it's rare I return anything. I exchanged it for my CT Hollywood Flawless Filter.

Ah so interesting about your experience with the Dior product. I had a very similar experience with breakouts from a Dior foundation a few years ago. Got horrible breakouts in the same spots of my face you mentioned. I haven’t tried this new product but it’s the only brand that had a serum foundation in the past that broke me out that bad.

You just help me solve the reason why I was breaking out recently, and I now realise it was after using the new Dior Glow Star Filter. I was using this product quite a bit when I first got it, and thought my skin was reacting negatively to something in my skincare. After not using the Dior Star Filter a while I decided to take it with me on a recent trip because of a special event. The next morning my face had broken out again. I didn't put two and two together until you mentioned in this post. I'm a little sad about it because I like the Dior more than the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter. It will be interesting to see how many others experience a similar breakout with the new Dior Star Filter.

It took me a few days to figure out the same thing. I don’t know what the ingredient is in here but it gives me the worst breakouts. I’m glad I could help you out.

I was wondering why I was getting weird breakouts, I bet that is why. And I’m the same for using their products and never having a problem. Thanks for telling us because I didn’t put two and two together until you said that! I also really enjoy my Dior bronzer, but I’m really tempted to try the glowly rms one! It looks georgous on you

Exactly!! I’m glad I shared my experience. I don’t know what ingredient it is in the product which is a shame. I’m glad that the bronzer isn’t bothering me.

Hi Alli, i think id like to try the Givency Mascara. Such a shame about the Dior Glow Star Filter that it was breaking you out but at least you know now. Have you had any issues with the maximisers? The Dior Glow Veil is a lovely alternative to the star filter but it’s mainly for underneath foundation its so lovely and glowy makes your skin look really fresh 🤍

Hi Minnie. I tried a sample of the Maximizers and I didn’t notice any breakouts. I wish I knew which ingredient it was that caused the breakout.

💛 your natural glow looks beautiful today. Give Gucci a cuddle from me 😊. I have pulled back from purchasing at the moment. So many brands releasing and reformulating similar products. I just need a time out from it. However, really enjoy watching your videos and recommendations for when I’m ready to jump back in for some new products.

Oh that's the reason I've got little break outs... the dior forever glow. I am going to pay attention if that's also the reason for my break outs. Thank you for the update on all the products. I love the dior natural bronze glow in coral! Love you 😘

Allison, that’s interesting about the Dior glow filter. I’ll have to test it I did have some break outs but didn’t pay attention if it was due to the Dior glow filter. I have not used since. I’ve been using the Dior highlighters without any breakouts but I’m definitely going to test the Dior glow filter. Thank you for sharing your April favorites!! 😊❤️

Thank you for sharing your experience, Allison! I also cannot use the Dior Star Glow Filter. I've got terrible break-outs all over the cheeks after using it and it was the only new product I had introduced into my routine. I would recommend that everyone test it before purchasing. I have the "old" Dior single eyeshadow in Tutu and love it. A great color for everyday. Love your videos ❤ Can't wait for your next one!

@@AllisonChaseit would be worthwhile to run the ingredients through a website. You might be able to identify what's irritating you or at least narrow it down
